Doctor: That's not good... NURSE!

My vision started to get blurry.

The doctor got up and left. Vinnie chased after him and grabbed his shoulder.

Vinnie: WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU GOING?
Doctor: Sir..

The sound of flatlining pierced our ears and I saw doctors running down the hall.

Sienna: What's happening?
Charlie: VINNIE!

Vinnie came back into the room crying. He put his hands on his forehead and paced around in circles.

Maitreyi: VINNIE? WHAT DID HE SAY?

Charlie: VINNIE!
Vinnie: They can't-

Everything went black.

Charlie: Yale I need you to push for me!
Doctor: Just one more.
Yale: What's going on?
Charlie: Yale please.
Yale: WHATS GOING ON??
Charlie: Stue's machine died for a split second but it was fine! He's alive. He's weak but he's going to be alright. Can you push now?
Yale: Charlie I can't do it.
Charlie: Yale you are the strongest person I have ever met. You can do anything. I need you to push!
Doctor: One more!

Rose's POV
I sat down next to Stue holding his hand. He was unconscious and I was waiting for him to wake up.

I heard Yale was a couple of floors up giving birth. I wanted to go see her but I need to stay here with Stue.

His eyes began to open.

Rose: Hi!
Stue: What's wrong with me?
Doctor: Hi stuart.
Stue: Hi.
Doctor: Are your parents here?
Stue: No
Rose: They're on their way.
Stue: But I'm 18 now so you can tell me whatever.
Doctor: You're still clear.
Stue: I am?
Doctor: Yep! No cancer in sight.
Stue: So why did I faint?
Doctor: Dehydration and starvation. Have you been eating lately?
Stue: I'm not sure. I haven't really had an appetite.
Doctor: Okay well you need to eat something. You're free to go.
Rose: I'll take him down to the cafeteria.
Stue: Wait do you know what room Yale Meguin is in?
Doctor: Yale Meguin?
Stue: Yeah she's giving birth.
Doctor: Oh yes you came in with that overwhelmingly large group from that highschool. We all noticed your prom attire.
Stue: Yeah...
Doctor: She's doing fine. The baby should be here soon.
Rose: Oh my god!

After the doctor left his room, I couldn't help but kiss him.

Our kiss turned into a make out.

I got up and closed the door.

Stue: We don't have to do this.
Rose: I almost lost you. Life is too short to wait for what you want... Do you have a condom?
Stue: Always.

I leaned back down and kissed him.

Talin rushed into Stue's hospital room.

Talin: OH MY BABY!!

she placed her hands on his cheeks.

Stue: Mom I'm cancer free!
Talin: What?
Stue: I don't have cancer!

She pulled him into a hug and turned to flag me over. I joined in on the hug.

Talin: Oh god I'm so happy!
Rose: Yale just gave birth.
Talin: Oh really?! We should go see her!
Stue: Yeah!

Stue, Talin and I rushed upstairs to Yale's room. Vinnie, Sienna, Owen, Asher, Maitreyi, Will, Ellie and Charlie were standing around her bed.

Yale's POV
Charlie: Now push for me Yale!

I pushed as hard as I possibly could.

Doctor: Congratulations miss meguin, you have given birth to a beautiful baby...

Yale: Charlie it's a girl!
Doctor: We're going to go clean her off and we'll bring her back.
Yale: okay.

Charlie wiped the sweat off of my forehead.

Yale: We did it.
Charlie: You did it.

Rose and Stue ran into my hospital room.

The doctor brought back our baby back into the room and placed her in my hands.

Charlie: That's our baby
Vinnie: Wait am I crazy or
Sienna: No I see it too...
Stue: what's wrong?
Maitreyi: She's beautiful but she's..
Owen: Oh my god.
