Getcha! Miku And Monopolized Romance Len's Second Meeting

Getcha Gumi doesn't really have a name. So, I'm just going to name her Edna. However, this might change. Other than that, I hope you enjoy!

The date was October 23rd, 2021. Mae Holgate (Getcha Miku) and her friend Getcha Gumi were walking together in the park.

Getcha Miku: Trust me, you're going to love this guy.

Getcha Gumi: Well, you only met him yesterday, right?

Getcha Miku: Yeah, but he has a...bit of history to him. Oh! That's him over there!

She pointed to a blonde-haired boy sitting down on a bench. He saw the 2 girls and smiled. Mae and Getcha Gumi ran up to him.

Monopolized Romance Len: Hey, Mae.

Getcha Miku: Hi. Oh! I'd like for you to meet my friend Edna. Edna, this is Martin.

Monopolized Romance Len: It's nice to meet you, Edna.

Getcha Gumi: Nice to meet you, too. So, Mae, what did you mean when Martin had a bit of history?

Getcha Miku: I'll let him tell you.

Monopolized Romance Len: I was a victim of kidnapping for 6 years. Have you heard of Diana Goldenbury (Monopolized Romance Miku)?

Getcha Gumi: I saw her on the news just last week. She took her own life.

Monopolized Romance Len: Yeah. She knows that she can't have me. Besides, I'm not her type.

Getcha Gumi: So, you're single then?

Monopolized Romance Len: Yep. But I'm ready to mingle.

Getcha Gumi: Hmm...

Getcha Miku: Edna? What are you thinking about?

Getcha Gumi: Martin, can Mae and I have a moment of privacy?

Monopolized Romance Len: Sure.

Edna took Mae's hand and led her somewhere else in the park.

Getcha Gumi: Mae, you could be the one for him!

Getcha Miku: What are you talking about?

Getcha Gumi: Think about it! Your name and Martin's name both start with the letter M.

Getcha Miku: That doesn't mean anything.

Getcha Gumi: Oh come on! Ever since you first saw him on the news, you were like always worrying about him.

Getcha Miku: Well, that part's true...

Getcha Gumi: Go out there and confess!

Getcha Miku: What if he isn't ready for a relationship? What if he doesn't like me back?

Getcha Gumi: There you go again...He looks like the kind of guy that's struggling to recover after what he's been through. Maybe you can help him forget.

Getcha Miku: I guess you're right. Okay, I'll give it a try.

Getcha Gumi: Go get 'em! I'll just be over here.

Monopolized Romance Len: So Mae, what did you and Edna have to talk about?

Getcha Miku: Martin...ever since I first heard on the RealSyd Bulletin about your kidnapping, I was worried about you. I was worried that Diana would do terrible stuff to you, like maybe kill you.

Monopolized Romance Len: I'm still alive. And I'm glad I don't have to see that psycho again.

Getcha Miku: I was wondering...since you're single and ready to mingle, maybe...would you like to be with me?

Monopolized Romance Len: Are you asking me out?

Getcha Miku: Well...yeah. But it's okay if you don't want to.

Monopolized Romance Len: My parents are trying to help me with finding a girlfriend. Maybe you could be the one for me.

Getcha Miku: So, is it a date?

Monopolized Romance Len: It's a date.

Getcha Miku: Thank you, Marty! Uh...I can call you Marty, right?

Monopolized Romance Len: You're good. My parents call me Marty all the time.

Getcha Miku: Okay. So, when should this date be?

Monopolized Romance Len: Hmm...how about tomorrow night? My parents are going to be out for awhile on that day, so we can have it at my house or something.

Getcha Miku: I'm cool with that.

Monopolized Romance Len: Is 6 PM okay with you?

Getcha Miku: I'll be there.

Monopolized Romance Len: Cool. You remember where my house is, right?

Getcha Miku: Yeah. Yours is the one that almost looks like a mansion.

Monopolized Romance Len: That's it. Okay. Well, see you tomorrow night.

Martin hugged Mae and then left the park. Edna came out from her hiding place.

Getcha Gumi: You didn't tell me that he was loaded!

Getcha Miku: Well, duh.

Getcha Gumi: Well, you got yourself a date. We better go to the Mirai Mall so we can find you a formal outfit.

Getcha Miku: Yes!

And that's what the girls did for the rest of the day. Mae can't wait for her date with Martin tomorrow night.
