"(Y/N) your needed in the briefing room." Agent May says as she walks past you towards the briefing room. You follow her into the room. Agents Ward, Skye, Fitz, Simmons, and Coulson are already there. "Alright now that everyone is here we can begin." Coulson says. "(Y/N) for this mission you and Agent Ward will be going undercover to infiltrate an enemy organization." "Coulson, I can handle this on my own." You say. "The two of you are needed for this assignment you'll have to work together." May says. She hands you and Ward both a file to learn about your mission. "You got problems with me (Y/N)?" Ward asks following you out of the briefing room. "Well after what you did working for Hydra like that I don't see how they could trust you ever again." Ward grabs your arm roughly to stop you and force you to look him in the eyes. "I never worked for Hydra only for Garrett and that was a mistake but I've made up for my past so don't push it." You get lost in his eyes. He releases your arm. "(Y/N)?" He says. "What?! Sorry! I got distracted." He smirks at you. "Of course you did." He turns and walks away.
"Wait Ward!" He turns around to face you. "I'm sorry for being so harsh I just dont trust easily so you'll have to earn it." You say crossing your arms over your chest. "Right sorry about grabbing your arm I get rather angry when thinking about my past mistakes." Ward says. "It's fine now go study for our mission." You say. You turn around and head to a comfortable place on the plane to study. Ward walks in and sits beside you on the couch. "Mind if I study here?" He asks. "Nope." You say not looking up from the papers. "Wait we have to pretend to be a couple for part of this mission?" You ask. "Apparently we do." Ward says.
