(This part of the story is told through the perspective of Yasashi)
I can tell she's got better at fighting, that's all i could think at the time. She's already putting up a better fight than Kusuri, he was so helpless. I wait for her to make a move. She tries to grab my tomahawk but she doesn't know i have it, she only know about a gas mask killer with a black hood up. I use this opportunity to kick her away and i start to run. She doesn't know who i am or why i wanted Kusuri dead, justice. All i know is justice after all, justice and death how poetic. She manages to throw a knife at my ankle making me fall to the floor before pulling a pistol to my head. Maybe I underestimated her but there is one thing she has forgotten, that being who i am
Rei: Who are you, and why did you kill Kusuri?
She looks at me dead in the eyes with a serious look on her face. Only thing i could do i chuckle to myself.
Yasashi: who am i? I am someone who admires your fighting skills
Rei: flattery isn't an option.
She cocks the gun back
Rei: i'll ask again, who are you?
Yasashi: who i am might not concern you anymore.
She has a confused look on her face
Rei: what do you mean by that?
The look on her eyes remain the same.
Yasashi: Death doesn't have answers to give.
Rei: then death will be the outcome you'll be given
She kicks me to the floor still aiming the pistol at me
Rei: take the mask off, die who honour and die with dignity.
Yasashi: you and i both know you've been in this position before, about to kill someone who is vulnerable
Rei: what do you mean by that?
Yasashi: a man called Yoshida Yasashi
Rei's eyes widen before glaring down on me
Rei: How do you know who he is?
Yasashi: because
I lift up my gas mask revealing my identity.
Yasashi: I don't think me and him aren't too different from each other.
Rei drops the gun and covers her mouth crying
Rei: Y-Yasashi... why? Why is that what has become of you!? You were once a man who had a life, a man who protected me through war. You are not the Yasashi i knew. Do that mean nothing to you!?
I am taken back by what she says but i smirk not caring
Yasashi: It means nothing to me because you can't change the past. Have fun, my sweet little angel
I teasingly say before turning sinking underground back to the hell where i belong. I left Rei crying to herself on the floor but i am happy that she is just one of my fading memories
