𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 // miya osamu

Episode 29

Trees rustling as a cold breeze creeps in your body making you wrap your arms around yourself. There are a lot of things on your head right now. And, one of them is you, currently standing at the back of the building waiting for the mysterious person who gave you the note.

These guys are really taking advantage of the white day.

You thought as you look up at the blue sky where it fascinated you quickly as the clouds smoothly glides on the blue space.

You let out a sigh as a smoke comes out from your mouth because of the cold weather. You take a hold of your scarf, pulling it up with your dainty fingers as you cover your mouth.

You clasp both of your hands in front of your mouth and you can tell that your hands are really cold for the lack of gloves.

"He's really taking his time," You mumble to yourself as you rock yourself with your feet, staring at it.

You don't really mind waiting since it's mildly your fault that you intentionally go straight as soon as the teacher walks out.

Well, he did stated to meet you after class.

Letting out another sigh, a branch snapping which made you look behind you as you expected it's the guy. 

"Uh, Samu," You greet the person who stepped on the branch.  "What are you doing here?" regardless, you definitely know for sure, he's the one who should be asking it.

wait, wait, wait. 

Don't tell me...

"Sorry for the long wait," Osamu replies as he lets out an exhale, jogging towards you.

Am I dreaming?

"The teacher held me back. That's why I'm 10 minutes late," Osamu explains as soon as he stands in front of you.

"Wait, what?" You exclaim, still in disbelief that he's the guy.

"Okay, I know I should've told ya that I'd be late but, wouldn't it ruin–" He started explaining but you suddenly cut him off,

"Wait, you're the one who gave the note?" You clarify which it is already obvious.

"Yes," Osamu replies.

"But, I thought you're not interested," You say in a hush tone.

"That is why I wanted to talk to ya," Osamu says, "I know I made ya wait by the vending machine for awhile and it seems like I don't care, but please listen to me for a while," He added which you nod to.

"Okay, I know I left ya without an answer and with a nonchalant expression. But the truth is, I was really, really processing yer words and I felt like I was dreaming that time," He started which you just stayed quiet and look at him.

And, seriously, this is the first time you've ever witnessed him talk this much

"The truth is, I wanted to reply and say that I would like to go out with ya too," Osamu continues, looking straight into your eyes as he scratches his nape. 

"But, I wanted to keep my composure and ya know, to look at least cool," Osamu added as a red tint creeps on his cheeks which made the side of your lips curve upwards.

"I mean it's already uncool that the girl asked me out," Osamu says shyly as you shake your head with a smile.

"With that, I think– I think I like ya, too," Osamu answers, looking straight into your eyes.

Yes, you wanted to jump in joy and hug him tight. But, he thinks?

he just think he likes me?

think?

"Samu," You started as he replies with a small nod as a sign that he's listening.

"You think you like me?" You reply with a faint smile.

"Ye– I mean, I really like ya," Osamu stutters which made you chuckle in defeat.

"Samu, it's okay," You say as you felt him tense a bit with your question.

"Here," You started. 

"I know I'm the one who asked you to go out with me. And, I'm really happy that you told me you wanted to go out with me too,

But, I can't have any assurance about how you only think you like me. I don't know if your mind's just tricked on liking me too, but I don't if it would work if you just think you like me," You explain to him with a faint smile.

"But, I really do," Osamu insists.

"But, I can't believe you right away, Samu," You say.

"Then, give me a week to show ya that I really like ya," Samu insists. Determination in his tone.

"Give me a week and in those week, I'll make sure I can prove myself to ya," He added.

You gaze at the pavement a smile creeps on your face.

"Okay, deal,"
