SO MAYBE DANIEL WAS SHITTING HIS PANTS ONCE AGAIN.

in his defense, after a good couple of days of just relaxing and doing nothing. he was, oh so, rudely reminded of his upcoming classes. the first few at the new school.

"what's your first class?" jonah asked.

the brunette had come over for an early cup of coffee, claiming his own coffee machine had broken. the boy walked into the blonde's shared dorm room looking dead on his feet with a coffee cup dangling from his grasp as he passed right by eben's questioning glance. once jonah had fully snapped out of his funk, the trio shared a good laughter, jonah knowing he was going to be the brunt of some jokes for a while.

"astronomy." the blonde shrugged, "i needed a science course and all the other choices seemed boring.

the older boys shared a look, a spread of emotions filtering though their faces. eben raised his eyebrow at the younger as the brunette laid his finger on his lip, chewing absently on the already stubbed nail.

"is there something wrong?" the blonde suddenly asked, "should i not take the course?"

"no no no," eben was quick to shake his head, disagreeing with the younger blonde, "it's your degree, take what makes you happy. i-i just uh, i heard it was a pretty hard class."

daniel wasn't stupid. he could tell he was being lied to. and in the few conversations he'd had with the new group, he had been lied to quite a bit. he couldn't see any reason for him to be worthy of their secrecy, he hadn't said anything (at least the boys had reassured him of so) he was new, so he obviously hadn't done anything either. haven't they watched enough movies to know hiding and lying to people always ends up with the worst outcome.

the boy, however, nodded, letting his disbelief filter through his actions as he placed his coffee cup in the sink, "yeah, okay." he mumbled, "i'm gonna go get ready."

jonah and eben watched as daniel slinked back into his room, shoulder hunched over a bit to accompany his slightly spoiled mood. now the older boys had no intention of ever hurting the younger, they actually really liked him. eben greatly valued him as a roommate and jonah could tell the boy was going to be a great friend. their lives just heavily centered around corbyn and his DID, his disorder found a way to worm itself into every conversation. they couldn't help it, they just wanted to make sure they always did what was best for their friend. and if keeping his disorder a secret what was best for him, then they would do it without a doubt.

"you're cute when you worry, y'know." eben whispered into jonah's ear, walking past the suddenly blushy boy as a smirk covered his lips.

"stop that." the brunette mumbled, burying his face into his hands.
