I was in my room sitting alone, I've been getting weird feeling in my head and my chest was hurting. I thought it was because I stayed up the whole night before, so I laid my head on my pillow and closed my eyes. 'knock knock knock'. I hear someone at the door. "Come in" I call. It's my mom, Mary. "David, honey, I have... I have some bad news. Your girlfriend passed away in the Hospital 20 minutes ago." Shocked I answer, "No, that can't be I was just messaging her 10 minutes ago." With a tear in her eye she looks at my and say's "Baby you've been asleep for 3 hours."
The clock on my dresser read 3am. Awake another night with no sleep. I'm feeling paralyzed and Confused. I leave the house and go for a drive. It's 22 degrees outside and snowing. It's almost Christmas. I'm in my car driving down this old gravel road just outside of town. It's about 3:45am I've only been driving for 45 minutes. I want to run off the road and wreck I want to die now. But my mom pops to my head. How could I leave her? How could I do this to her? Tear are just flooding out of my eyes.
Finally I pull to the side of the road. "Fuck! Why, why did you take her away from me?" I'm screaming and punching the dash and the steering wheel. "Please Lord just take me away put me with my baby." Blurry vision from my tears I turn around and head home. I'm 5 minutes from the house. My phone rings, 'RIIIINNG' It's my mom, I answer it. "Hello?" I said. "David, Where are you it's 4 O'clock in the morning." Before I could answer, 'BAM' My car was hit by a big truck headed West. Car totaled, Muffled sounds, Ears ringing. Sirens. I hear sirens, their close. I can't see right but what I can see looks like my mom. Out of nowhere everything goes black.
"Sir, can you hear me? Sir, can you hear me?" I wake up in an ambulance the medic is working on my chest. I can't see it but I feel it. I have a big gash on my torso and my chest. I'm bleeding out. The medic calls out again, "Sir, can you hear me? Can you tell me where you are?" I'm trying to speak but I can't. It goes black again. This time I see a light. I call out, "Hello? Is anyone there?" A voice calls back, "David?" I recognize that voice, it's ANNA! "David, I'm so sorry I didn't mean to I just couldn't take it anymore my life is just so horrible. David I love you and always will!" Her voice fades away. I try to wake but it's over, I can't go back again. I'm finally at peace in heaven.
