i looked out the window of the car as we pulled into a parking space, across from us was a bar were we were meeting the team for drinks, emily had suggested it as they hadnt been out together in a while and we hadnt had a chance to go out as a team since i joined and if they all truly wanted to get to know me then we must but i knew it was just an exuse to get me out with them but i wasnt going to tell them that i was dredding this. "so you ready or this" derek asked and i sighed looking up at him "as ready as ill ever be but did we really have to go to a bar for this you know what im like" "well then its the best way for the team to get to know the real you not just the work you, Izzy this team isnt just a work team were all family and as family they wont judge you for your weird traits" i smiled at him " ok but if i start challenging people to drinking games we leave deal" derek laughed promising me and we both jumped out and began walking towards the bar where i saw emily stood at the door waiting for us, i got pulled into a hug " hey guys im so happy you could make it and might i add that you look stunning" she said pulling back to stare at me, i was wearing a navy blue blouse and a black skirt with kitten heels " thanks emily you look great as well i didnt know what to wear and i havent had much of a chance to go shooping latley" "well i couldnt tell come on the others are inside were just waiting for spencer" i smiled grabbing derek by the arm as we walked inside the bar. i looked around the little bar, it was very quiet just seemed to be a few other people and the team who were sitting at a bid round table next to the little dance floor they had, the whole place had a old western theme to it but the smell of wood and the sweet drinks that filled the air mad eme feel relaxed " hey guys sorry were late someone took forever getting ready" derek said as we got closer nudging me " oh no dont you blame it on me when you forgot you phone and wallet" i wined shoving him beofre sitting down between JJ and emily giving JJ a side hug as i did " well im just glad you showed up doll and you look great" rossi laughed from acroos the table causing whatever tention that i had in my body to melt away as i looked around at everone smiling from ear to ear. after a while of chatting and spencer finally arriving i noticed a small machine being dragged to the stage where music was being played " hey derek is that what i think it is" JJ asked and i shot derek a look telling him to stop whatever he was thinking, derek knew that i loved to sing especially karaoke but there was no way in hell i could infront of the team, not unless i was drunk or they caught me would i ever sing in front of people i had to face everyday " oh it is JJ i thought we could all have some fun since we have the place mostly to ourselves and besides" he looked over to me " you all said you wanted to get to know Izzy better" i shook my head "no way" "why not Izzy it will be fun" spencer said and i gave him a look "because hearing me sing is something for when im good and drunk and wont remember it the next morning" i said " aww come on just one song" garcia wihned and i sighed "fine but ill need my backup singers which means garcia,JJ,emily you three are doing it with me" laugher erupted from the men and garcia stood up "what song did you have in mind" she asked cheerfully as if she was looking forward to this "oh i thought i would kill a few birds with one stone and tell you all a bit more about myself and my personality with a bit of disney" i said simply walking up to the stage and telling the DJ what i wanted and that i needed 4 mics which he happily set up before annoucing that we were doing karaoke on the speaker so everone in the bar could hear "come on then girls" i yelled from the stage and somewhat hestitantly they all waked up and each stood behind the mics " what song are we doing then" emily asked and i pointed to the screen " you are the red line im the purple line any of you know the song?" i asked looking behind me " i do i love that film" garcia said standing proud and sassy clearly getting into character, i thouight she might like the song as she was our teams muse "me and JJ both do as well but dont you need 5 back up singers for this song?" emily asked and i shook my head "the muses sing all together in this song so you only need a minium of 2 for it to work" i took a deep breath before nooding to the DJ to start the song and he did. "if thers a prize for rotten judgment, i guess ive already won that, no man is worth the agrivation thats achient history been there dont that" i began feeling the lyrics and the fear leave my body as i saw all the team members jaws hit the floor thent he girls began " who do you think your kidding hes the earth and heaven to try to keep it hidden honey we can see right through, honey cant conceal it we know how your feeling who yout thinking of" a smile captured my lips as we started the rest of the song a feeling of happiness washing over my entire being.
