Y/n and a certain red head were laying on Max's bed with there legs up against the wall listening to some soft music from a playlist y/n had made for the taller girl just a few days ago. it wasn't long after the battle of star court mall happened and max was grieving the death of her brother so the y/h/c had made a cute little playlist in hopes to lift her spirts just a little bit but that idea went down the drain when she looked over at her best friend who was now crying again, little did she know it wasn't for the same reason as all the other times she had cried to y/n this week. max had recently realised she has feelings for her best friend and it killed her everyday. how could she like a girl, what would people think, what would her step dad think. but at this moment in time she didn't seem to care about what anyone else else had to say. she wanted to tell you world how she felt about you weather you liked her back or not. she slowly turned her head to face y/n. "can I tell you something." she said just above a whisper. "go ahead" y/n said with a intrigued smile. "but" she trailed off "you have to promise its not gonna ruin our friendship" Said the red head as she turned to look up at the celling again. "nothing you say could ruin our friendship. well unless you said you killed my dog or some thats like unforgivable" Y/n said while chuckling. max gave her a stern look. "okay okay I promise" she said with her hands up. "okay so don't say anything till I'm finished okay" said the blue eyed girl, y/n nodded in response. "recently I've figured out I have... I like you Y/n." she looked away so the other girl couldn't see her blush. "like more than friends?" questioned y/n but didn't get a response. "max look at me." the shorter girl said softly. she slowly turned her head to look at the girl next to her slightly scared of what was going to happen but she wasn't left with much time to panic since as soon as she was fully facing y/n she felt her lips on hers. she instantly melted into the kiss and placed her hands on the others face. neither of the girls wanted to pull apart but sadly they had to to catch there breath. "I have been waiting for you to say that" y/n said breathlessly. both of them had the brightest smile on there face as they played and listened to music till the crack of dawn quietly singing to each other.
