Prologue

His cold black eyes stared through the glass at the lone figure walking past. As it reached the end of the hall, it turned around and gazed at the room before closing the lights. He then opened the oak double doors and walked out, locking them. The yellow light from the corridor outside shone through the crack in the door. The man’s footsteps could be heard getting further away. Then, the light went out and the locking of the main doors could be heard. Then, all was left in silence.
