Jimin and Jungkook were friends from childhood. Jimin liked the taller boy but Jungkook never showed any interest in him.

Jimin frowned whenever Jungkook would date someone in front of him but he often wondered why the couple never went out if Jimin didn’t join them on their date 

Did Jungkook really enjoy throwing his relationship on his face to remind him of how single he is - Jimin groaned

When Lisa, Jungkook's date of the night asks Jimin why he wasn't dating anyone, Jungkook's answer makes Jimin upset

"Oh please… no one wants to date a childish annoying little brat, Lisa. Not everyone is perfect like you…" Jungkook says making Lisa blush 

Jimin gets up to leave when he sees Jungkook leans in to kiss the girl.

"Where are you going?" Jungkook's voice was stern 

"I don't want to intrude on your dates anymore Jungkook…" Jimin is already near the cafe door 

"Wait! I will drop you" Jungkook gets up to leave as well 

"Jungkook… what about me?" Lisa is confused 

"You have your car right?" Jungkook says and with that he is following Jimin home 

"You should not leave her like that. She is your date" Jimin is upset at Jungkook's behavior "...what if she breaks up with you"

"Then I get another date" Jungkook says smugly 

"You are despicable…" Jimin storms off

Jimin often wondered if what Jungkook said was true. None of their batchmates ever asked Jimin out. It often seemed like there were guys who were interested in him but the day after they start being friends, they suddenly stopped. It always hurt Jimin and he ended up often crying on Jungkook's shoulder and the taller was really good at comforting him. It was one of the reasons why Jimin fell for the taller playboy

As usual Jungkook drags Jimin along with him on a date. The girl leaves seeing Jungkook trying to cheer Jimin, who looked upset being there in the club

"Can I buy you a drink, princess?"

Jungkook choked on his drink. His gaze landed on a taller man with beautiful dimples.  The man smiled at Jimin and Jimin couldn't help but blush

"M-me?" Jimin is surprised 

"Yea.. why are you so surprised?"

"Ah well… no one has ever called me a princess before…" Jimin blushes and Jungkook could feel his anger rising 

"Well to be honest you look like an angel and sound like one too so maybe I should call you that?" The man's voice is seductive 

"I…"

Jungkook clears his throat, gaining both of their attention on him 

"Oh I'm sorry… are you guys on a date?" The man asks 

Jimin looks at Jungkook, hoping he would help him

Jungkook scoffs "..date? Him? Please…"
 
The man smiles wide at Jimin "...oh that's great… would you dance with me?"

Jimin was upset from earlier that Jungkook didn't bother to save him and so he stands up

"Of course…" 

The man holds Jimin's hand, pulling him into the dance floor with him

They dance for hardly a minute before Jimin finds himself be dragged from the man 

"What?" Jimin notices it is Jungkook pulling him and so he harshly pulls his hands back "...what are you doing? Are you jealous or something?"

"Please…" Jungkook scoffs "...you just looked uncomfortable there"

Jimin scoffs "...well I wasn't" and he turns to walk back towards the man when he feels himself be pulled again and into someone's chest 

"Jungkook.. you…" Jimin's eyes widen when he feels Jungkook's lips on his, shutting him up

"Damn it! I love you okay! I tried so hard to keep all the men away from you at the University and I thought dragging you along with me everywhere would make you jealous and make you feel something for me… but people still manage to get you..…" 

Jimin hits Jungkook's head "...are you crazy? You seriously wanted to make me jealous? Are you stupid? Why didn't you just confess?" 

"Because I didn't want to lose you…" Jungkook's voice is soft, making Jimin feel bad for hitting him "...I rather have you with me everyday and not be mine than lose you completely…."

"Jungkook…." Jimin sighs as he cups Jungkook's face "....I love you too… it's always been you…"

"Then why didn't you say anything?" Jungkook asks upset 

Jimin scoffs "...because you are always with one girl or another… how can I confess when you have someone else in your life…"

Jungkook smiles sheepishly "...sorry about that… maybe my planning wasn't that great…"

"But mine was" Jimin smirks 

"What do you mean?" Jungkook is confused 

"That man…" Jimin points at the man who waves at them from the dance floor. He was dancing with Jin, Jimin's cousin brother "...he is Namjoon, Jin hyung's boyfriend.. "

"What?" Jungkook is surprised 

"Yea.. it was Jin hyung's idea to make you jealous for once…" Jimin giggles seeing Jungkook's embarrassed face "...now I know what you really feel about me. I'm glad…" Jimin says hugging the taller

Jungkook smiles as he wraps his arms around the smaller's waist "... I'm glad too… I love you Jimin.." Jungkook holds Jimin's cheek 

"I love you too Jungkook" Jimin closed his eyes feeling Jungkook's lips on his
