Ostend, roughly 60miles away from Brussels

A charming, bigger, prettier and the most interesting seaside town located at the Belgian coastline. It has one of the finest coastlines in Western Europe. The place has so much to offer, ranging from magnificent churches, royal galleries, museums, ports, casino, pubs, bars, shopping malls to the divine taste of authentic shrimp croquettes and handmade fish salads. Not to mention the Belgian chocolates and beers!!

Being one of the rich cultural hotspots of Europe, one can follow the art route around the city by foot or by bike. A wide variety of art forms like tiny sculptures to grand portraits in bright colors, could be found in every nook and corner of the city. The street art, being another major attraction of the city, had the potential to entice the tourists to the place with the breathtaking, large-scale murals painted in almost every building of the city.

The lively city's most sought after tourist destination was the beach. Ostend beach was not yet another beautiful coastline with a fine sand and warm waters. Instead, the shore by the North sea was the host of a one of a kind sand sculpture event every summer. If it was a bliss to swim in the North sea on a sunny day, then it was nothing less than the feeling of euphoria to bask under the sun at the shore and watch little kids run around, flying kites and making sandcastles.

The loud vibrant laughter from children, the sweet whispers of young couples, the incoherent and hesitant half-baked English, broken - Dutch or French spoken by the tourists seeking guidance around the city, and the rustic dialect and fashion of the locals, were all an eye-catching sensational attractions of the city. An involuntary smile bloomed on Tee's face, as he walked down the streets of Ostend, watching the people around with interest. He loved summers after all....

Tee had never been a fan of winters. It made him uncomfortable, right from getting out of the bed in the morning to getting back under the sheets at night. He hated the bitter cold weather, as he believed that the translucent white icy cold snowflakes were the best interpretation and resemblance of himself.

Those tiny crystals tend to look attractive and alluring to human when the winter begins. The flakes would tempt the kids to play with them. Although cold, people would feel a strange warmth and happiness during every first snowfall. But as the winter progresses, the icy cold air would push you to confine yourself inside your house. The frostiness would grip your body mercilessly in its evil clutches. The absence of heat would make you desperate and helpless. And soon, you would realize how cruel and dangerous the beautiful snowflake could become, when it accumulates and surrounds you like a spider web.... just like him, Tee, the cold and ruthless conman.

Tee inhaled the fresh air from the ocean, before entering the cafe he worked at.

"Morning!! Morning!! Sunshine!!", the cafe owner in her late-thirties, greeted Tee cheerfully.

"Good morning, Lyssa", Tee mumbled, moving towards the kitchen.

"Ahh ahh... wait...", Lyssa pulled Tee back by his jacket, "Where are you going?", she asked with a chuckle.

                                     "To the kitchen?", Tee frowned.

"Look around, will you?", Lyssa rolled her eyes.
