The Last of the Cure

Chapter 1

In one autumn afternoon 23 year old park jimin was strolling outside his university taking in all the new leaves falling. Jimin is an omega which is strange because omegas are becoming rare. Not only omegas but alphas are too. 10 years ago scientist came up with a new serum where once alphas and omegas meet they become betas or humans. Jimins parents were mated after the new serum was used so jimin is a rare breed until he finds his mate.

As jimin walked he stopped to start at his favorite tree on campus. He loves how the leaves are change color but don't fall. Its a specials tree that doesn't age. Jimin was admiring it when he heard a click. He turned around to see a young good looking male with a camera snapping pictures at nature around them. Jimin stared at him waiting for him to notice.

"Oh hi" the boy said shyly. He put his camera down from his face.

"I was just taking pictures of this beautiful tree" he smiled brightly.

"Its so beautiful isn't it? Its my favorite tree" jimin said.

"Mine too. I love taking pictures of nature" the boy smiled.

"Whats your name"? Jimin asked walking closer to him.

"Jeon jungkook, what about you"?

"Park jimin. Whats your major"?

"Photography haha. I enjoy it too much. And you"?

"Dance. I enjoy it but i dont think im very good" jimin looked down.

"I bet your amazing. I would love to see it" jungkook smiled.

"Really? Its nothing specials. There is a performed coming up in 2 weeks im not the main focus but you can come if you want"

"Of course. I wouldn't miss it. Shall we exchange numbers"?

"Sure" jimin walked over to hang his phone.

"Your an alpha"? Jimin noticed once thier hands touched.

"Yeah pretty rare. You must be an omega, i cant smell your scent but i can tell by your touch" jungkook said.

"Wow how rare for us to meet. I take suppressants so people cant tell. I got bullied quite alot"

"You shouldn't get bullied, being an omega is nothing to fear. I also take suppressants. Mostly because im an unusual alphas, ive never had super strong instincts.'"

"Do you mean your alpha doesn't react to anything"?

"It does but not the normal amount it should"

"I see, well jungkook i should get to class but ill see you soon"

"Yeah ill see you soon jimin" jungkook waved at jimin as he waked away. Jungkook looked down at the pictures he took and smiled as jimin was in almost everyone.

2 years later

"kookie are you coming to my dance performance its in 3 days" jimin asked sitting across from him in the food court.

"Of course, i wouldn't miss it for the world" jungkook smiled.

As they were talking another boy walks up to sit with them.

"Hey guys whats up"? The boy asked.

"Oh hey tae, not much talking about jimins dance"

"Oh yeah, well different be there" taehyung said.

"Thanks tae, it means alot"

"Did you guys hear, theres a new piano teacher and my mother is forcing me to go" tae said

"That sounds fun though. Do you think they will be cute"? Kookie smirked.

"I hope not or else all thoses years of praticing is out the window. I cant performed in front of cute people"

"Poor tae. We will hope they are ugly" jimin said.

"Thanks guys. Jungkook we should head to class after, we get as picture assignment back. I hope she liked my photos of dogs playing in leaves"

"Yeah i hope my nature pictures come out nice"

"We had to have some sort of model in it? What did you choose birds?" tae asked.

" i helped him" jimin interrupted.

"Yeah jiminie stood outside and i took pictures of him playing with leaves"

"Ah i see, well we should compare"

"Yes i wanna see how they turned out kookie" jimin smiled

"Yeah i cant wait".....jungkook looked down awkwardly. He hoped jimin would like them but he was shy to show them off.

After class

"Jeon jungkook" the teacher called him to hand his pictures back.

"These are beautiful jungkook. You have a talent"

"Thanks ms.sung"

"Is he your boyfriend"?

"No....hes ah my friend"

"You must like your friend quite alot, and i can see he likes you"

"You must have it wrong were just friends" jungkook looked down shy.

"Jungkook, these shots show a story. I love story and they way he stares behind the cameras. He smiling for you not the camera"

"Thanks ms. sung"

"Anyways i hope your romance goes well. You got an A plus"

"Thanks again, see you next week" jungkook bowed and ran out of the room. He ended up running to his dorm room and dropped his stuff off and fell on the bed. He couldn't stop thinking of what the teacher said. 'Jimin doesn't like me' he kept thinking to himself.
