"History will repeat itself, Amara."
I looked up at the dark figure in front of me in confusion. Xanifer started to pace the floor in front of me, adding to the pool of nerves already settling in the pit of my stomach.
"What do you mean?" I asked, finally daring to look up at his face.
I watched his sneering smile start to spread across his face as he tutted at me.
"That is for me to know, and you to find out."
Xanifer snickered at the confusion evident on my face. What could he mean? I'd heard of history repeating itself before, but what could he be talking talking about?
"Now you'd better go. I can see you having a troublesome one on your hands soon. Goodbye, Amara."
I turned slowly, and walked out the tall iron door.
