*~ Two Months Ago ~*

Zen and Amy, his class partner were working on their class project. A book report on a story book that had been written at least 100 years prior to the reading that they were doing on the book, to see how much storytelling had changed over that time.
"Hey. Amy," he paused "do you think that you could finish the project on your own?" He said, with quiet inquisition.
"Yea, why?" Amy said with a confused look on her pudgy face.
"Just not been feeling motivated." He replied, slowing down. "I was thinking about going to a party, getting drunk and smoking it up a bit." He then said, more assured of what he was saying.
Amy looked at him with a straight face, "Zen. You're 16. You're too young for that, dont throw away your life so fast." She said, grabbing his arm. Zen pulled back, pulling his arm towards himself.
"I'm going to the party, you can come to Amy. Just please dont grab me like that." He said, in a sort of a luring voice, trying to get her to come to the party.
"What about your soccer thing? If they catch you drinking and smoking you'll be kicked off the team," she grabbed him by the arm again, pulling him uncomfortably close to her "Zen, isn't that what you want?" She said, getting really close to him, almost getting a kiss.
"What the hell are you doing?" Zen said, shoving Amy away from him. "I think I'm done working today. Stay away from me freak." He grabbed the project, and left, on his way to the party.
After a several of meters of walking, his phone rang, he picked it up to hear Amy. "Zen, please dont go, I wanna work on the project with you~" She said, in a sweet tone, and then hung up, but Zen could still here her laughing behind him, at this point they were at the overpass, over the canal, that was normally full but at this time it was empty.
"Amy, why are you following me? I'm trying to get to the party. You obviously don't want to go, but I have to keep up my figure." Zen said, trying to convince her to go back home.
"Hey um, Zen... " she said, favoring her arm, and fiddling with her hair, "I really wanna go with you.... as your.. girlfriend.." Amy said, blushing, walking closer to him. "I really like you."
Zen sat on the bridge of the overpass, gesturing for her to sit next to him, and as he did that, he took a deep breath. He inhaled deep, and with an exhale, he said "Amy, I understand that, but I see you as nothing more than a friend. Plus. You're way out of my league." At that point, Amy pulled him off of the wall, and pushed him up against it, pressing her lips against his, kissing him, and invading his personal space.
Pinning him down, she continued kissing him, and Zen lifted leg, bringing his knee straight inbetween her legs, unlike males, it didnt cripple her, but she still fell off, allowing him to get up, and back up.
"What the f*ck is wrong with you!?" He screamed, spitting out the words with a seeming hatred.
Amy began to get up, tears in her eyes. "What's wrong with me? What's wrong with you that hurt!" Amy said, clutching her lower quarters, and then let go, walking back up to Zen, he put his arms up getting ready to defend himself. Amy walked up, with furrowed eyebrows. "You know that really hurts. You shouldn't hit a woman you know." She walked up closer, he had no more space to back up, he was up against the ledge. "Please, we can both forget about this, we'll have a happy relationship and I won't tell anyone that you kicked me with---"
" Stop talking! I dont like you Amy!" Zen interjected. "You're too clingy, you talk too much and you're sooo annoying!" He grunted, yelling in her face.
"Come on Zen... you dont really think that!" She said, shoving him into the road, and as she did, a car came by, and Zen dashed for the sidewalk, but as he did, he tripped, stumbling over the entire sidewalk, and toppling over the edge, after a few seconds of falling, Zen hit the concrete below the canal with a wet smack.
The impact of the fall had caused his ribs to rip through his skin, making several holes, and soon enough, the water in the canal had covered him, and due to the holes in his body, the gas didnt build up to make his cadaver float.
Amy looked over the edge, at the bloodied contorted body and screamed and ran home. No one will hear about this.
Every day Amy walks over the overpass, she dreads the sight below the bridge, the corpse of Zen Williams. He was thought to be a runaway, and Amy hadn't said a word about it, the last time she had seen him, according to her story, was right before he left her place after working on their project.
He had taken it with him, and she got a freebie from the teacher because Zen had 'run away'. But Amy clearly knew something that the rest of the class, and school didnt. His parents wanted nothing to do with that girl anymore. Their son, a 16 year old with a promising career in soccer, had run away, and Amy was the last person to see him. They were clearly suspicious of her, and that she knew she had something do do with his disappearance.
The search for Zen was continuous though a couple weeks, and then the water in the canal had lowered, leaving a horrid scent, and a horrid scene. The body of Zen Williams had been found, and the death had been counted as a suicide, high school, after all was very stressful.
