Hmm... The girl looksss eatable... maybe I will eat her. Yesss that soundsss nize.
But then again they sssaid not eat girl. Isss she the girl?
Yesss, it looksss like it, I can sssee her transssforming already.

I will need to capture her and get her to the bosss and then he will be happy and give me new toy.

Apollyon p.o.v.

The field was full of dead bodies. The enemy's and ours. But it wasn't over yet.

Before I even heard him, I killed him with my scythe. Angels really think that I'm some dumb foul for sneaking behind my back like that.

I turned back around to the part where Satan was still fighting the Angels. The dead bodies were piling up around him with every hit of his sword and spells.
Satan can be a little sadistic sometimes. Now was one of those times, he kept on smiling and humming some old song. So yeah, you wouldn't want to be in against him.

'Mr. Shetani, there is a problem.' One of the goblins said to me.
He is not supposed to be here, what could be that he is outside the house and here in the field between the dead bodies?

'Why aren't you in the house?' I asked turning to him while bending slightly so we were about the same height.

'The Angels here were just a distraction. The main part of the plan was to get in the house. I think.' The goblin said, ignoring my previous question.

'And what has that to do with me?'

'They brought a Beast and he killed almost half of your staff already. I myself could barely escape to come ask for help. We think he is after her.'

'Why didn't you say so earlier?' I yelled already running towards the house. I blocked and avoided attacks coming my way while I was running.

I hope I am not too late. I can't lose her, not now I have just met her. I couldn't even let her alone now even if she wanted me to.
I was afraid of losing Lauren. For me and the worlds future because if the Angels got her they would surely use her to win this battle that was going on forever since I remember.

Getting closer to the house, I began to smell the smoke and the scent the Beast left behind. And I also saw the trail of blue blood he left behind.

It had been a long time since a Beast was last seen. There were rumors that they were all dead except one.
This was the Beast known as the White Death. He was vicious like no other and his teeth were as sharp as razors.

I hope I get there in time! I said to myself when reaching the house.

I could hear the Beast growling and ran inside ready to attack it but I didn't expect to see Lauren floating in the air above the Beast with her golden wings. Her eyes seemed to widen at the sight of her wings. In that little second of distraction, she lost control of herself and began falling down. Down towards the razor-sharp teeth of the Beast.

I flung myself immediately at the Beast when it saw his prey was coming down in his reach. Only then it seemed to notice my presence. Not seeing me for a dangerous opponent it ignored me.

I slashed at him with my scythe and furiously it turned to fight me back now it knew I wasn't going down without a fight. We began circling each other waiting to see who would attack first.
In the corner of my eye I saw Lauren hitting the ground and lying still.
