what did you do?!?

When we got to the store we went our seperate ways, getting what we needed. I told where I would be so he could come find me. I was looking at the different choclates the store had when i felt two hands on my shoulders. it scared the living shit out of me.

"oh my fucking god Jaden! you scared the shit out of me" I said turning around, Causing a mother who had her two young children with her to give me a dirty look not wanting her children to hear that.

"sorry, I didnt think that would scare you" he said removing his hands from my shoulders.

"well next time think twice" i said grabbing the chocolate i wanted walking out of the isle, Jaden following behind me. We stop by the personal hygiene isle and I grab a box of tampons. I turn around and don't see Jaden where I left him. I go to the next isle over and see him grab a box before walking over to me.

"Condoms? What you planning on having a girl over" I chuckle as we walk towards the check out. 

"No, but being as good looking as me you can never be too prepared" he shrugs.

"I thought you werent a fan of chocolate?" Jaden questioned helping put away the groceries we had recevied while shopping.

"It soothes cramps" I say putting the chocolate bars I was holding in the cupboard.

"explains why your moody" Jaden says now sitting on a barstool at the kitchen island.

Brook: "Excuse Me!?! I am not moody. PAYTON!" i yell now realizing I was being quite mean. Just then a worried looking payton ran into the kitchen.

"You look like you just ran a marathon" i say laughing a little at the expresion on Paytons' face.

"first, rude. Second, who died?" He asks out of breath.

" no one died, why would you think that?" I ask.

"I dont know! maybe because you never yell my name!" Payton yelled. We continued bickering until we were silenced when our aunt raised her voice.

"ENOUGH! i've had a long day at work and just want to relax" She said the last part in a normal voice.

Brook: "sorry" I say and walk away up the stairs and to my room. It might seem dramatic and it is but I have been keeping a huge secret from my Aunt and Brother and if my brother finds out he might hate me. Like actually disown me and I dont even want to know how mad he will be at Blake. Your probably wondering what i mean by blake. Well, he lives in LA and he came to visit payton about a month ago. We liked eachother and hooked up at a party. Right before he left he asked me to be his girlfriend, I said yes. We knew my brother would be pissed because "blake isnt the type of guy to commit to a relationship" but of course I didnt listen. We decided to keep it a secret and my contact name for him is 'Andrew' With a red heart because he's my ex and payton thinks I still like him so he wouldnt think much of a 'I love you' or 'miss you' text if the contact name for him is andrews name. Im brought out of my thoughts when theres a knock on the door.

Payton: "hey, I noticed you and andrew have been texting alot lately so I invited him over, he'll be here in 10" Payton says through the door then walking away. Shit. I jump out of bed and run down the stairs to where payton was sitting, all his friends except jaden had left.

Brook: "YOU DID WHAT?!?" i yell at him.

Payton: "I invited Andrew over. Since you guys are dating again I want to hangout with him." Payton says giving me a confused look.

Brook: "Payton, I stopped talking to everyone for a reason. Now I'm going to need you to tell Andrew to never and I mean never contact you or me again. Got it? And we aren't dating again and never will" Just as Payton was about to speak the doorbell rang"

Brook: "I'm not here" I whisper before running to the kitchen so no one can see me but, I can still see and hear them. I watch as Payton goes to answer the door.

Payton: "Hey man!" They do the bro hug thing.

Andrew: "hey! You said brook wanted to see me?" Andrew asks walking into the living room.

Payton: "well I thought she did? But-" paton is really bad at making up excuses so I cut him off and walked into the living room.

Brook: "it's not Andrew!" I say before Payton could finish.

Payton: "what?" Payton asks obviously confused.

Brook: "the texts they aren't from Andrew" I say while looking at the floor preparing myself for my brother to get mad.

Payton: "the contact name is literally 'Andrew' with a red heart" Payton says still confused.

Brook: "it just says that so you wouldn't be suspicious" I say now looking at payton.

Payton: "then who are they from?"

Brook: "Blake" I say hesitantly

Payton: "gray?" Payton asks anger obviously filling his body. I just nod.

Payton: "idiot"

Brook: "what?"

Payton: "do you ever listen to what I tell you?" Payton says full of anger.

Brook: " I don't have to listen to you!"

Payton: "It was just simple advice! Like seriously Brooklyn any of my friends would be so much better for you than Blake!" He says raising his voice.

Brook: "I'm sorry pay..." I say now looking over towards Jaden and Andrew who if I'm being honest forgot were there who both have sadness in there eyes.

Andrew: " I actually thought you wanted to hang out..."

Brook: "Andrew..." I say as he gets up and walks towards the door. "I still love you"

Andrew: "Then why did you break up with me?" He asks looking at me straight in the eyes. "Why?"

Brook: "it was my way to cope, after my parents died. I thought that pushing everyone I love and care about away would help"

Andrew: "Then why can't we get back together?"

Brook: "if we are meant to be we will find our way back to eachother, if not then we wont but..."

Andrew: "but what"

Brook: "I don't think we will" He nods and leaves without saying anything. I look over at Payton whos face is a mixture of anger and sympathy.

Payton: "I'm sorry B"
