A few minutes later , the door opens again , and your friends all enter. "hey, how are you feeling?" asked cody "probably like someone tried to kill her" said coby "i cant relate" said garret "you guys look like crap" i said "gee, thanks" said cory  "for what it's worth we also FEEL like crap" said cory "come on guys . don't be like that, things could be worse" said cody , garret frowns, suddenly annoyed. "really dude? could they? let's check the math here" said garret. Garret ticks things off on his fingers "we've got a missing kid. we've spent all night running and fighting for our lives from a bunch of monsters and crazy cultists" said garret "and let's not forget our parent's tried to kill us.." said coby "and you stood up to them" said y/n "and it was barely enough to escape alive!" said cory. "not to mention that we've been slashed, stabbed, kicked , hexed, ghosted, smashed into just every part of a boat that exists--" before garret could finish "and we're still here!" i said "barely" said coby "i'll take barely alive over completely dead any day" i said. "loo, i know everyone's upset, but let's just calm down. We can't be on each other's throats right now. "said cody "cody's right, we need to keep it together" i said. A tense of silence fills the room. "let's just all take a deep breath and talk about what comes next, huh? coby? cory? ty? gar, what do you say?". Cody places a hand on garret's shoulder "you're right." said gar. Gar breathes a long, slow sigh and bows his head. "i'm sorry, i'm just.."  said gar "i know. it's okay" said cody . You all come together in a hug, and step apart. Everyone still looks worn down, but you see fragile smiles on faces. 

"okay so what's our next step here?" asked tyler "the cult wanted MY BLOOD and we still have no idea why. And when i was in the water, the ghost, it...seemed like it recognized me" you said "weird" said cory "maybe you guys went school together?" asked coby. i shake my head "i think my grandpa knows why all this is happening , so before we do anything. it's time i got some straight answers" i said . As if on cue , you heard a door open downstairs "that'll must be your grandpa , i'll send him up and go take over on watch." said tyler "i am gonna go see what i can scrounge up in the kitchen" said gar "i'm gonna see if there are band aids hiding somewhere" said cody "does anyone have a phone charger?" i asked "i guess we have it, but it's tucked away somewhere , we'll find it for you" said coby , cory hold up her hand and you chuck her your phone, "thanks everyone" i said . Your friends leave you alone in the room, you stare outside the window, with determination "we're gonna make it through this" i said
