Cameron is stuck in his English classroom and he knows that Nash is waiting for him just outside the door. He tries to hurry the conversation along, wanting the teacher to get to the point. He finally is able to remove himself from the conversation a few minutes later and he exits the classroom but Nash is nowhere to be found.

Cameron knows that Nash wouldn't leave on his own, he always waits for Cameron outside of his English class, it's the only class they have apart. He walks down the hallway slowly, he glances in empty classroom to see if he finds Nash. He's at the very end of the hallway where there's a stairwell that no one uses, he's about to turn back and search in the other direction when he hears a thud, the sound a fist makes when it hits someone's skin.

Cameron opens the door to the stairwell and his heart beats fast. It's dark in the stairwell and it takes a few moments for Cameron's eyesight to adjust but what he sees makes his blood boil. Some jock senior holds Nash against the wall and he has a bruise forming on his cheek. The jock pulls his fist back to hit Nash again, Cameron charges forward and grabs the jocks fist before it hits Nash again.

"You motherfucker!" He roars as he pushes the jock away from Nash. He balls his fist and lets it fly, hitting the jock right in the noise with a satisfying crunch. He punches him again this time on his cheek; he knees him in the gut and causes the jock to crumble on the floor, clutching his stomach as he moans in pain.

"How does that feel you stupid asshole? Doesn't feel to good to get the shit beat out of you. If I ever see you even look at Nash again, I'll make sure you never walk again. And warn your little buddies too," he spits out at him and then he approaches Nash who is still leaning against the wall. He traces the bruise on Nash's cheek gently.

"I'm so sorry, baby. I'm sorry I was late, the stupid teacher wanted to talk to me after class," he murmurs and he presses a gentle kiss on the bruise and Nash wraps his arms tightly around Cameron, he squeezes his eyes shut and takes in a deep breath. He breathes in Cameron's scent and his heart rate slows and the fear finally starts to subside. Cameron is running his hands up and down Nash's spine, he feels relieved when Nash's breathing evens out. He pulls away slightly from Nash, but Nash clings to him.

"It's okay, baby. I'm not going anywhere," Cameron tells him softly. "Do you want to go home?"

Nash nods right away; Cameron intertwines Nash's hand with his and leads him out to the parking lot. They aren't caught by any teachers and they get to the car safely. As soon as they're inside, Nash pulls out his iPad.

"Can we get milkshakes before we go home?" Nash gives puppy dog eyes to Cameron. Cameron laughs softly at the antics of Nash.

"You're acting like I could ever say no to you," Cameron quips, he's still amused. Nash shrugs and maintains an innocent look on his face. He pulls through the drive-thru of McDonald's and gets Nash a large vanilla milkshake and he gets a strawberry flavor for himself. He hands Nash his and Nash immediately starts sipping on his.

"Babe, you're going to give yourself a brain freeze if you don't stop." Cameron warns and Nash shrugs as he continues to sip quickly.

"Fine, don't listen to me but I don't want to hear any bitching when it gets bad." Cameron pulls into the driveway of Nash's house, there isn't anyone home yet. Nash lets them in and they go into the kitchen where Cameron puts some ice in a kitchen towel and holds it to Nash's cheek. Nash grimaces at the coolness of the ice against his warm skin.

"It's going to sting a little but it'll help with the swelling." Cameron murmurs, Nash looks at him with his trusting blue eyes and Cameron feels himself fall for Nash once again. "You're so adorable, baby."

Nash flushes and smiles sweetly at Cameron. Cameron leans in and presses a gentle kiss on Nash's lips. They haven't really defined their relationship, and neither of them felt the need to. They know how the other feels and that's enough for them.
