It was one of those days, you know when the heat bothers everyone attending school and making them stick to their cheap plastic school classroom chairs and annoying long hair making you snicker with a groan, when those days lead to being aggravated yet leading on in some sexual mannerism ways, yeah....sure it seems like the perfect time to be guarding the waters of a beach well known and public to people with talk back attitudes and ignoring officials orders.

Yeah, I am from south africa so what the heat doesn't bother me fairly that much but it does when people like to be the boy who called wolf when they think they see a shark or something mysterious lurking in the water.

But whatever.

I am currently sitting in the buggie accompanied by my life guard partner today named Harries as we were looking at everyone enjoying their time down at our beach and being sweaty but cooling off with the oceans water.

"Central tower to east bondi Beach," we heard someone say into the radio radioing us as it glitches out and back in making a crackling sound that a fire makes when everything is quiet.

Harries grabs the walkie talkie radio speaker pressing the button radioing the person back.

"East bondi Beach on duty and responding back over." Harries says into the speaker microphone as he letted the button go as I looked out into the ocean viewing the visitors and they're current state of distress.

"Harries is Naomi with you on duty?" The person from the central tower radioed back as I kinda heard what he had said and I ignored it at first.

"Yeah, mate she is." Harries replies letting the button go again and leaned backwards observing the calmness of the beach.

"Okay, mate. By the way a hand went out in the ocean near you guys...can you send her out?" The person radioed back in sounding serious this time and not joking as I snapped my head back towards Harries and looked dead serious awaiting for further information.

"Yeah, sending her out now." Harries replies radioing the guy back as I sprint into action and hopped over my life guard surf board and quickly ripped my shirt over my head and pulled my bottoms down as I grabbed the board and sprinted really fast down into the ocean and jumped a few times in the shallow end and then ran with the board and jumped onto it breaking the incoming waves splashing all over me as I used my arms to power forward.

Back on the shore :

"Mate, look how fast she is going." Harries got out of the buggie observing me literally as he radioed the person back after commenting.

"She is actually really good, mate." Maxi radioed back in commenting on my speed and jumping into action.

Then mass of onlookers visiting the beach gathered around to check what is happening.

Naomi's P.O.V :

I putted both my legs out and stopped myself against the tough turf current as I arrived in brave and sorta panic stance as I immediately stook my hand out telling him to grab my hand or arm.

I roughly pulled him towards me in a firm hold and I letted him grab the sealed rope put in on my surf board and as I tried to balance myself and the surf board as the water current was rough and very tacky.

"Thanks for saving my life." The saved person that I saved thanked me catching his breath and I helped pull himself onto my life guard surf board and I commanded for him to turn around and face forward and lay down flat on his stomach and I then pulled him backwards and I then putted his soaking wet legs onto my upper and outer thighs and I then pushed with all my might forward catching a huge wave and it pushed us forward fast as we brushed up against the sand banks coastal line surface.

I got up and helped him up and I then picked my board up and walked with it underneath my armpit and arm securely and tightly and I then walked back towards the parked buggie on the shore line where Harries clapped and smiled big as everyone clapped along with him as I returned to him smiling my pearly white teeth.

"Well done, female mate." Harries congratulated me and up praising me as I letted out a few breaths of relief and exhaustion out as I slipped the surf board back into the rack and I picked my life guard gear up and slipped my t shirt on over my upper body covering my breasts and toned but faint yet defining female version of a six pack.

"Exhausting mate?" Harries asked as the onlookers disappeared doing their own thing and I nodded slowly but understanding my tired and exhausted state.

"Hahaha. The guys back at the tower loved watching you safe someone's endangered life on the line." Harries stated as I smiled yet again and I thanked him while giving him a side hug and putting my bottoms on over my already wet swimming costume and I then hopped in the buggie and got it started and I then turned it around and raced back to the central life guard tower.

When we got there I parked the buggie near the stairs if anyone was patrolling the beach and I then got out along with Harries as I took the keys out of the ignition after turning the buggie off completely and I then opened the gate leading into the life guard tower and I then walked up the stairs first as Harries was getting a few things out of the buggie and I walked into the tower as Jessie and Maxi were lounging around doing nothing but searching the beach thoroughly and watching the cameras.

"Heyyyy." I greeted everyone exhaustedly and Jessie immediately turned around in his rolling chair and looked at me.

"Great job on that safe." Jessie said in his aussie accent as he leaned forward.

"Thanks, did my best." I thanked him and told him exhaustedly as I slouched and walked into the back room to grab a towel and dry my hair and wrap it around my waist.

"I know you did." Jessie stated after I said what I said as I came out from the back room and I then walked up the mini flight of stairs.

"Whose patrolling and who is guarding the tower." I asked stating wanting to gather some on the job information and I stopped right behind the center counter with our binoculars, 5 sets of walkie talkies, and a phone dialer phone stand with the phone on the hook.

"Jethro and Jack are guarding the first side tower on the western side of the beach and trainee Chase and Chappo are guarding the eastern side tower on the eastern side of the beach, meanwhile...Milky and Deano are on foot patrolling a few yards down ahead of us and Beardy, Klipper, and Hoppo are by the swimming pool as second pair of eyes on anything and Harrison alongside with Jake and Jackson are on the western side of the beach patrolling in their chosen buggie and Azza with Glick are on the eastern side on foot patrolling down there." Jessie tells me as I nodded my head taking in the information and looking from up ahead to the left and to the right of the beach observing everything like a hawk does when out hunting for a fish and looking after their babies.

"Are you and Harries staying in the tower with us?" Maxi asked wondering and trying to start a friendly conversation with me.

"I am and I don't know about Harries." I answered him already having my answer in his mind and honestly telling him the answer for Harries.

"Jess?" Maxi looked at Jessie catching him staring at me like fucking food.

"Yeah, man..." Jess dragged his eyes away from me and landed them onto Maxi who raised his eyebrow at Jessie in annoyance.

"Our turn on patrol." Maxi stated being serious as he nodded his head and stood up and got the keys from me and walked out with new sunscreen on him and his sunglasses resting on his bridge of his nose.

"Don't burn the place down, alright." Maxi looked at me warning me more like questioning me.

"I won't, big promise." I answered seriously as he nodded his head passing Harries on the way out and high fived him in excitement.

"Another day at work for us here in the tower." I stated making a joke and Harries laughed in response to my sudden joke.
