Chapter 10- feelings

**Cedric P.O.V**

It's the day after the first task and something just didn't feel right. I can't believe I didn't go and see y/n afterwards to see if she was ok or not. She said she was but she's good at lying and I mean very good .

I wanted to check how she was so I got up so much earlier and snuck to her dorm, she wasn't awake but I could tell she was in some sort of pain. I closed the door as quiet as possible and went over to her bed stoking stray hairs away from her face.

I sat on the end of her bed and lay next to her resting her head onto my chest, she winced in pain as I caught her arm, "shhh shhh shhh, it's ok y/n I've got you" I gently lifted her shoulders up sliding underneath her and setting her back onto my chest.

She rolled over so her front laid on mine. I couldn't deny it to my self anymore. I loved her. I never wanted to admit it because, well because she's my best friend and 3 years younger than me  let a lone how pissed of Percy would be at me.

I just laid there watching her, she was so peaceful, although she would wince out of pain every time she made the slightest wrong movement.

**y/ns pov**

I woke up and saw Cedric, I wasn't expecting it but I was glad he was there with me. I needed to start being honest with myself but I couldn't except the fact that I loved him. He's my best friend I couldn't do that to him, not now at least, and to think about how mad my brothers would be.

I looked up into his grey eyes and gave him a friendly smile, "helloooooo when did you get here?" "I got here this morning doll" he replied squeezing his arms around me. "What day is ittt?" I asked groaning miserably, "it's Monday"  (screw school yall don't need it) 

Fred and George walked into the common room, I could tell because omg they are SO BLOODY LOUD, "will you shut upppppp"

They came upstairs and George sat on my bed, "well hello there, you look like you've just woken up" he stated laughing "that's because I have" "oh, well then get up!"

Fred dragged me up out of bed but by the wrong arm , " FRED that fucking hurtttt" "sorry!" He said pulling me into a hug, "I'm sorry" "it's fine" I wrapped my arms around him, when I  pulled away you rubbed my eyes and went to the bathroom getting changed

Everyone just chilled in the common room (including Cedric). I was sat in cedrics lap talking to Neville and Ron.

"Have either of you opened the egg yet?" Harry asked raising an eyebrow. I looked at Cedric as he shook his head, "no should we?" "YES!" Everyone yelled.

I ran upstairs and got the egg I came back down the stairs and threw the egg at Cedric telling him to catch it.
