Chapter 2: Finding his Lover 💞

Mason ran out of class when it was over. "Nope, not this time." as he says out of breath. "It's lunchtime already?!" Mason jumps up and down and goes to the cafeteria to see a cute boy minding his own business. "OH-" Mason looks at Lucas and blushes walking over to him and sits next to him.

Lucas looks up "Oh... Hello, I'm Lucas, and you are?" Mason blushes "Uh- OH! I'm Mason, sorry I dozed off. I tend to do that a lot" Mason giggles as Lucas stretches "Ohs. Well, do you wanna be friends? You seem really cool." Mason's heart began to beat fast "Did he just ask me to be his friend?! ME?!" Mason thought. "Yes! Of course I will be your friend. Barely anyone asks me to be their friend.." Lucas tears up cause he feels bad "And why is that?"

Mason sighs "Lemme tell you a quick story cause it would usually be long, but since we don't have enough time to talk since lunch is almost over, here it is." Mason takes a deep breath and then exhales. "So, since you're my friend you have to know this. I am autistic. Meaning I have autism. Most people such as students HATE autistic people. We get bullied non-stop these days. Which isn't fair. So you telling me that you wanted to be my friend, made me so happy inside and also sorry for dozing off. My autism makes me do that." Mason catches his breath and puts his head down "Too much information? If so I apologize.."

Lucas looks at Mason giving the soft eyes (if you don't know what soft eyes are, look up soft eyes emoji or pleading face emoji) "You are amazing for who you are Mason. Autistic people are so amazing in my opinion!" Mason hears Lucas and hugs him (By the way, this would take place way before the pandemic hit in 2019. So this is happening in like 2016 or in the future. Wherever you wanna take it :)) "Thank you so much best friend!" Mason smiles and doesn't let go. "Hey Mason? One, you have to let go since lunch is over. And two, wanna hang out after school? I got nothing to do after last period." "Oh my gosh. Yes I'd love to!" Lucas stands up and takes Mason's hand and walks to their classes together.

~ After school :) ~

Mason goes to his locker and grabs his phone and backpack and runs out of the school entrance and waits for Lucas to come out. "Where is he?" Mason wondered after the last bell rang for the day. Mason goes on his phone and goes onto twitter to see he only has 189 followers and then tweets:

"I want to be loved by someone. Someone who is there for me and doesn't give up on me in a week. That would be my soulmate. The true person who loves me and cares for me. This is me ranting people. But love you besties <3"

Mason tweets it and sits on a rock and waits for Lucas to get out of school. Then he realizes Lucas could have left early and never told him. Mason starts to get sick to his stomach so he walks towards home when he hears his name called.

"MASON!" Someone calls from behind him. Mason looked behind him and saw Lucas. Mason smiles big "Yay! Hiiii!!" Lucas runs to Mason "Are you okay? Why are you walking this way?" Mason sighs and looks down but back up at Lucas "I thought you gave up on me or you left school early.." Lucas looks at Mason and giggles "Sowy, I had to help my teacher with something. She needed something to be brought in her classroom and thought I was strong. But I'm actually really weak" Lucas holds Masons hand again and walks with him "Oh my gosh. Your hands are super soft" Mason blushes when Lucas says soft hands. "Fank yous" Mason becomes soft, meaning he's in soft space. (Again, if you don't know what soft or soft space means, I would suggest going to google/chrome/safari and looking up "what does soft space or being it one mean?" :))

~ At Lucas's house ~

Lucas brings Mason into his house and then into his room. "Maybe you can sleep over tonight? We could watch some movies!" Mason nods "Let me call my mom. It's hard for me to text message someone since I also have dyslexia." Mason facetimes his mom and smiles "Hi mama!!" Marie looks at the phone "Where the hell are you? Did you get kidnapped?!" Mason giggles. "No mama! I made a new friend today and I went to his house" Marie smiles really big "Omg! Yay May May! Daddy would have been so proud of you. So proud!" Mason smiles "Yee. Can you come pick me up in an hour? I wanna come home and see bun bun" Marie looks at the bunny and then Mason "Yeah sure May May" Marie says I love you and hangs up as Mason looks at Lucas "I no stay overnight" (I can't stay overnight) Lucas gets sad "Ohs... But we can watch a movie now" Mason nods and sits on Lucas's bed as he (Lucas) gives Mason his hoodie "Keep warm" Mason smiles and lays down as Lucas cuddles up next to Mason "You know.... You're a great cuddle bug." Lucas says while looking up and smiling. Mason gets butterflies in his stomach "I kinda like someone. Like having a crush on someone" Lucas looks at Masons face "WHO?! SPILLLLLLL" Lucas sits up and giggles.

Mason shakes "I'm friends with them..." Lucas thinks and then looks at himself "M-me?" Mason nods slowly and covers his face "I know you don't like me and now hate me..." Lucas shakes his head a lot "Noooo. I like you Mason. That's why I had my head down. I saw you and thought you were cute!" Mason widens his eyes "Wanna be mine den?" Lucas nods "Yes. You are my baby now" Lucas hugs Mason tightly "EEEE! I love you so much beautiful baby boy" Mason smiles "I wuv you"

~ Hour later ~

            Mason's phone goes off when Lucas and him (Mason) are sleeping and cuddling. Mason wakes up and answers it "Hi mama. '' Marie sighs "I've been outside for the past 10 minuets! Get your butt out here little man" Mason widens his eyes and looks at the time "Sowy mama. I'm coming. i love you." Mason hangs up and sighs moving off the bed and kisses Lucas's forehead "Bye baby. I have to go. Ima text you. I love you" Lucas smiles as Mason leaves the house and goes into his mom's car 'Hiii" Mason smiles. "Hi my favorite son!" Marie ruffles Mason's hair. "Wanna go to McDonalds or Burger King? You survived the whole day" Mason nods "Burger King!" Marie takes Mason to Burger King and then goes home for the night.
