You told me she's no one I should worry about.

You told me you weren't interested in her.

You told me you liked me but you weren't ready.

So I waited.

Even with all the telltale signs I waited.

Even with all your mind games I waited.

Even when everyone told me not to I waited.

Even when I know it's stupid I waited.

I cared, I supported, I encouraged.

I waited.

I should have backed off when I could but I waited.

Just to be proven how stupid I was.

That you liked her all along.

Yet I waited.
