❝ Reincarnation is one of the supreme magics in this world. ❞
Meliodas stared hard at Ryoko for a couple of seconds before he sighed. Ryoko watched as he ran his hands through his blonde locks before pinching the bridge of his nose.
"Our love is forbidden."
Ryoko raised a brow at this statement while she sat down on the stool besides Meliodas. From there she could tell it pained as well as upset Meliodas to talk about his love.
"I can tell and see it pains as well upsets you to talk about this, so to make it easier I can look into your memories." Ryoko said as she adjusted her position on the stool to where her body was turned to him.
"May I?"
"....Sure Lady Ryoko." Meliodas muttered and she placed two fingers on his temple and instantly her fingers glowed red as well as her eyes. A couple a minutes went by before Ryoko pulled away and Meliodas caught himself being breathless.
"Ah, forbidden love is cruel but lovely." She voiced out as she propped her chin in palm and stared at Meliodas with a passive look in her brown eyes.
Meliodas just nodded his head as he took a sip of his booze before he turned his head to stare back into her passive gaze.
"How did you know about reincarnation?"
"Reincarnation is one of the supreme magics in this world." Ryoko answered as she moved her gaze off of Meliodas and onto her hands.
"I should know because I'm the one who created it."
Meliodas spat out his booze as his emerald eyes widen at Ryoko's statement.
"You?! What?!"
"I created reincarnation. I was small back then and didn't quite understand my magic. I created it to bring back my pet bird but I only created it as magic, not a curse." She explained as she twirled a strand of her silky red hair between her fingers.
"Then how did it become a curse?"
"Magic can be altered y'know? But it has to be someone with a high power level of magic to alter my magic and turn what I created into a curse. I can reverse the curse but the result in doing so, your lover will cease to exist and die for the final time. After that, she'll remain dead." Ryoko informed with a troubled sigh before she stood up.
