Louis had never felt the utter disappointment he was feeling at this moment. His ears were ringing and his heart was at his feet. "What" his throat was dry, "what do you mean Harry?" he spit out, voice cold. Harry's omega whined as tears formed in his eyes. He hated making his alpha mad. "Lou, I-I don't know. I-I I haven't even, and you, you can't" Harry began to hyperventilate extensively. His chest was constructing and he felt his head become fuzzy. Liam shouted at Louis, "He's about to drop!" but before Louis could react Harry's eyes rolled into the back of his head.

Coming out of a foggy haze was always hard. Especially since Harry was experiencing a major headache due to the drop. He was whining uncontrollably, body shaking. Seeking out his alpha. Louis wasn't there though, when Harry came back to full consciousness, Louis was no where to be seen. Harry sobbed into his hand, lips chapped, hair matter with sweat and heart heavy. "Lou, Lou, lou" the words tumbled from Harry's lips like a mantra. The nurse came in when Harry's heart monitor started beeping loudly. "Oh honey, calm down" she instructed. But Harry couldn't hear her, his mind was in searing pain, hot white flashes and calling for his alpha. His omega surfaced completely. Howling continuously, for his alpha. This caused all of the wolves in the area to drop and submit to their Luna. Aurora was calling out desperately, and Harry was too.
Soon enough Louis came rushing into the room. Eyes a blazing blue, his alpha was present. Harry was sobbing and reaching out desperately, almost ripping out his IV. The alpha growled, not wanting the boy to hurt himself further. Harry stopped and bowed in submission. Neck fully bared releasing hormones that could attract any alpha, mated or not. Seemingly instant, howls were heard from all over the pack. The alphas were ready to have Harry submit to them. Louis sprang into action. "Omega, stop submitting" he growled out. Desperate for his mate to stop. Harry mewled at the command, head fuzzy again. "Yes, alpha" he picked his head up to look at the man. "Please don't leave" Harry sobbed and his arms extended. Louis sighed and walked into those arms. The smell of vanilla and wild flowers filled his senses. He felt warm. "I won't pretty omega" he promised. The omega hummed as he began scenting his alpha. "They're yours, they're yours" Harry promised to the alpha. Louis felt his chest fill at the mention.
It was a few hours later. The two were lying in the hospital bed, cuddled and scenting. Louis whined as he licked Harry's neck. "I'm so sorry pup" he whispered in his omegas ear. Harry shivered and whined back, "no no alpha, I'm sorry" he spoke. That's how the discussion began. With the alpha asking what the confusion was and the omega explaining that he doesn't remember if he was knotted or not. Louis doesn't show any sign of resentment or anger by the end of it all, and Harry couldn't be more sated.
"Oh, baby" Louis whispered into Harry's hair, tears in his eyes and hands shaking. He felt horrible for ever doubting his Luna, his mate. Harry keened in the back of his throat. "It's okay lou" Harry whispered into Louis' shoulder, eyes misty. "I do have a solution to this problem" Harry muttered into Louis' shoulder, "What's that?". Harry sighed pulling back to look at his alpha, "I can get a DNA test". Louis' chest filled with a tight heat, anger. "No" he said firmly, voice cold. Harry ran his fingers through Louis' hair, "I would for you" he said honestly. Louis whined, "no, I won't risk the safety of my pups for Grimshaw's lies". Harry let out a choked sound, tears running down his eyes, "thank you alpha". Louis rubbed his hands down Harry's back. "I don't want my pups to die, but I would die without you Louis" Harry said earnestly, eyes locked into Louis'. "Please don't make me choose" he muttered again. "I won't," Louis promised.
