Chapter 7

UNKNOWN POV

I just saw her walk in, but I don't think she has seen me yet, and that might be a good thing. I have no idea how she is going to react when she sees us, it could be good or it could be bad. I see her looking around the room, probably trying to find someone she knows, but then she sees me... She looks around a little bit more and then sees the rest of the guys. She looks angry, sad, and confused? I see her go up to James, she looks kind of worried. I see James bring her over and her look at her feet, refusing to look at any of us, but I don't blame her. I get tired of the awkward silence, so I decide to speak up.

"Hey Nina, long time no see." I say and she looks up.

She looks at all of us, but doesn't say anything.

"Wait, you guys know each other?" James asks confused.

"So you didn't tell him, did you?" Connor asked.

Oh no Connor what have you started?

"Well obviously you didn't either." she said coldly.

"Please don't be like that." Connor pleaded

"Like what Connor? Do you want me to act like nothing happened?"

I could see the tears welling up in her eyes. James was just standing by looking confused, but I don't blame him, if I was in his position I would be confused too.

"I have to go." She said quickly, rushing out of the gymnasium.

"Well this is going to be fun" I thought to myself. I just hope Nina can forgive us, and we can be friends again. I miss what we used to have. She was like a sister to me, we would do everything together, and now she hates me. I have to change that!

*UNKNOWN POV IS THOMAS*

THOMAS' POV

When we got to James house I was kind of dreading going in, knowing Nina is in there probably avoiding us, though like I said before I don't blame her. I should have never told her I couldn't talk to her anymore. It was the worst decision I have ever made. I shouldn't have cared if Connor thought it would be easier to cut off all ties with her, I shouldn't have gone along with it, but there's no going back now. What's done is done and in the past. All I can do right now is go to bed and hope Nina will talk to me tomorrow, and we still have to explain everything to James, and that's going to be awesome! Note my sarcasm.

NINAS POV

I woke up at 6am hearing voices down stairs. I got up and was about to open my door when my mom walked in.

"Hey babygirl, you're up!" She said giving me a hug.

"Yeah, what's going on?" I ask yawning.

"Look, I have to go on a last minute business trip, and I will be gone for about a month." She said sadly.

"A month!!! Mom you can't leave me alone with them! James is going on a business trip too, so I'll be alone with them. Mom please don't leave me here with them!" I said pleading.

"I'm sorry baby, but I have to go. Do you want me to lose my job?"

"No! I just...What if I let them in again and they end up breaking my heart...again? I don't think I could take it." I said sadly

"I know honey, but nobody says you have to let them in again, but if you do you just have to trust that they won't do it again." She said rubbing my back as comfort.

"Yeah, okay. But it's going to take some time, I don't know if I can just trust them again."

"That's completely up to you. Now I have to get on the road, so I love you and I will see you in a month." She said kissing my forehead

"Love you too, call me when you get there." I said hugging her.

"I will. Bye!" she said walking out the door.

Great, I still have to talk to James before he leaves, and mom won't be here to help.......This day is going to be great! Note my sarcasm.
