What is "Inception"?
In addition to extraction, there's also inception, a technique in which an idea is implanted in the target's subconscious in order to make the dreamer believe that the idea is their own. At each level of shared dreaming, there has to be a dreamer and a subject.
Layers of dreams to be exact (or at least in this plot). An experience of a dream inside of itself. In simple terms, you could be dreaming... but once you wake up you're still inside a dream. People who experience this can wake up more than just once inside of their own dream. It can be terrifying depending on the subject of the delusion.
