"Our..your our" Adhara spluttered
"Instructor" He finished flatly, His gazed moved to the clock hung on the wall before saying "You need to get to bed there is a curfew you know"
"Yes dad" I muttered, his head snapped to me and his silver eyes hardened as they met mine,
"It's Dominic actually, now I suggest you get up those stairs before I drag you myself" He threatened, not wanting to risk it I sent the others a look of annoyance and hauled my suitcase up the stairs
"Wait which one is-" I started
"Second door on the right" Dominic answered, my eyebrows raised in surprised but I refused to give him the satisfaction of seeing my surprise and resisted the urge to turn around and gawk at him. I dragged my suitcase down the corridor feeling the pull on my muscles every step I took slowly draining them even more the lack of movement seemed to have taken more energy than me going on a run would have. Once I reached my door I nudged it open with my shoulder and stumbled in barley taking one look around I changed into comfy clothes and collapsed into bed.My head fell limp against my shoulders as my body was shook back and forth and my name was shouted multiple times, I felt cold air surround my body and goosebumps appeared on my skin and light shone into my sensitive eyes. I sealed my eyes tightly shut and shoved whoever was shaking me off and opened my eyes and sent a glare towards who I thought was going to be Aria or Alex. My eyes widened in surprise when I was met with amber eyes staring up at me in astonishment,
"No need to shove me, I was just trying to wake you up, what are you a log," Thalia groaned holding onto her hip, I just rolled my eyes at her dramatic actions,
"She's up" Adhara started, gasping
"It's a miracle!" Astra added smirking at me, I snatched my blanket from Thalia's hands and sent the twins a glare
"Well are you going to get out so I can change?" I questionedI jogged down the stairs greeted with shouting coming from one side of the room and laughs on the other, my gaze immediately went to the direction of the shouting and noticed Rhea arguing about something with Thalia and repeatedly shoving her out of her 'personal space' I let out a light chuckle before going over to join the conversation happening on the opposite side of the room,
"But think about it if I was the last person on earth you would have to date me!" Adhara stated
"Your my sister A," Astra spluttered, "why are we even having this conversation,"
"Because you said you wouldn't date me even if we weren't sisters," Adhara whined,
"Your my sister why would you even think about that," Astra questioned
Adhara shrugged "I'm too good for you anyway" I couldn't help the small giggle that left my mouth,
"You are I sad Adhara don't listen to her" I added, Astra sent me and exasperated look. I just smirked at her
"What is wrong with them?" I questioned
"I have no idea-" Astra started
"They've been arguing for over an hour" Adhara finished
"Well maybe they have a good reason" Kamaria shrugged
"How can you argue for one hour and have a valid reason for it" I asked,
"Very easily actually especially when this girl has never been taught about personal space and how to close her mouth" Rhea commented walking over to us,
"Your just moody" Thalia whined, Rhea sent her a scowl to which she stuck her tongue out in response, anticipating the next move I stepped between them before Rhea could strangle her.
"Guys chill there's no need to kill each other we've just met" I said exasperated
"I mean you could less people to teach," a dep voice commented, my head whipped round once again met with taunting silver eyes, I sent him a scowl
"All Dragon riders seem to be a bundle of joy" I said stepping out from in between Rhea and Thalia
"Outside in 5 minutes" He said ignoring my previous comment
"Outside in 5 minutes" Astra mimicked earning a small snort from me,
"Make that 1" He shouted back causing us all to suddenly run towards him breakfast and previous conversations forgotten. My gaze wondered around the large training field, in one corner there was a small barn with punching bags and weights then opposite there was a large circular ring which I presumed to be for fighting. On the left side of the field if your sharpened your gaze you could just see the magical barriers sectioning of different parts of the field.
"Right so as you should know their will be three tests and I will take one of you individually and test you and the rest of you will be here training," Dominic informed us, Thalia groaned and Dominic moved his gaze to her and raise a questioning eyebrow.
"Training already" Thalia started "I wanted to get my dragon" Thalia whined, Dominic looked her up and down before taking two long strides before she was right infront of her,
"Don't interrupt me and then maybe you won't ask stupid questions," Darius said "You were going to find you Dragons today but just for your interruption I might just hold you back" He added a smirk etched onto his cold features
"You can't do that!" I replied exasperated, at my comment his gaze turned to mine and I was met with stormy eyes and a smirk, he close the distance between us and took my chin between his thumb and forefinger and tilted my head up and stared into my eyes before finally replying
"Watch me sunshine," turning on his heel he dropped his fingers from my chin before looking over to the twins, his extended his hand before signalling for the twins to come, they both stepped forward but he held his hand up and shook his head, "only one of you, Astra first" The twins sent each other a look before Adhara nudged her twin forward and whispered
"Good luck," A smile on her face in an attempt to reassure her twin, Astra broke into a jog trying to catch up with the long strides Dominic was taking before he turned around and looked at all of us and shouted
"Get on with it!" And he once again turned on his heel expecting Astra to follow him and resumed his long strides away from us,
"I don't like him," Thalia pouted,
"I'm sure it's mutual" Rhea commented, before turning and walking to the opposite side of the field and claiming one of the sections, I raised an eyebrow at her disappearing figure,
"Everyone around here is just so happy!" I said letting out an annoyed sigh, a light chuckle caught my attention and I turned to Kamaria who had been quiet during the whole event, I looked at her confusion etched onto my features before turning to Thalia who stood there with a pout still etched onto her delicate features,
"Come on" Adhara said shaking out her head and dragging her to circular ring, Kamaria suddenly broke the silence they left us in,
"Care to join me," She asked signalling to the barn in the corner a small smile lying on her delicate features her red hair tied in a ponytail on top of her head giving me a clear view of her high cheekbones and plump lips, I sent her a nod before bowing slightly
"Of course my lady," I added returning a smile and earning a small chuckle.
