I couldn't believe it was happening. It was exciting.

I had been waiting for this very moment for what seemed like forever. It was as if I were in a dream. I couldn't believe it was finally here.

I was going to hang out with my friend. Usually, you don't get this excited, I know.

But quarantine lasted a looooooong time. I couldn't help it.

Meets, meets, meets, google meets. I was sick of them already. It was painful not being able to hug your friends!

Finally, though, I would be able to.

Don't tell them, but I got sick of my family (everyone at the orphanage). Seeing the same faces every day, all day, and it was annoying. I wanted to see other faces. Sure, I could FaceTime others, and get on Google Meets with them, but it wasn't the same.

My name is Saturn. Weird name, right? Now that I told you about my morning, I'm going to explain to you a little bit about me.

The reason my name is Saturn is because my mom is an astrologist, and obsessed with it. She loved astronomy so much, she named me after a planet! Think of it, a planet.

It's cool, but imagine being named a planet. Not ideal.

I jog with my high tops to my friend's house. They have red soles, red laces, and the rest is white.

Who is this mysterious friend I keep bringing up? Best friend, really. Her name is Lily. I call her Lilypad, because it's a fun nickname. Usually, nicknames are shorter than the actual name, but I couldn't help myself.

My backpack is heavy, especially since I stuffed it with random crafts I did over quarantine. I just had to show Lilypad. It was a necessity.

I knock on her door. Her house is big. She has a front porch, with a swinging bench in it. Her house is baby blue, with a white roof, and front door. I love it.
