Ch. 2- Maki's story

I arrived at the dining hall, then turned the device on, trying to get in contact with Maki's ghost, but no avail, only loud statics were heard.

"What am i gonna do.." i said to myself, and then i saw a little instruction paper on the back of the device, i havent seen this yet, so i flipped the device and read the instructions.

After a while, i finished reading and realized i need to be where the ghost was so i could get in contact. Somewhere around the dining hall.. but where? I have no clue..

"Miss Y/N~!" Shuichi called out to me, which got me startled. I held my breath and peaked through the halls. Shuichi was looking around, trying to find me, i cant stay here...! I dashed right out of the dining hall and went to the lift without Shuichi noticing me.

As i got into the lift and went to the first floor, i saw Shuichi standing right outside the lift, he knows where im going. I stopped the at first floor and quickly hid in one of the hotel rooms, using the master key to open them. I got in the bathroom and hid in there.

*RATTLE!*

*CREAK!*

"Miss Y/N~" Shuichi called out on me as he entered the room that im in, to my surprise he didnt check the bathroom and soon left until faint footsteps are gone.

I sighed in relief and stepped out of the bathroom and looked around the room, opened one of the drawers and saw a video tape, some sort of poison, and a knife with bloodstains in it, i also found a small mirror.

I looked at it closely and suddenly an image or two showed up. It was an image of Maki and her husband going in the dining hall, and a table which has number 7 as the table number. "That might be it.." i said then went back to the dining hall, going to table seven.

I reached the dining hall, then looked at the table 7, the lights flickered over there.

"Thanks for the free dinner bro!"

"Mhm.. although Kotoko.."

"We can bring her food to the guest room before we head on over!"

"I guess.."

*cough!*

"Kaito!"

"Its fine, Maki-Roll.. its just like everytime.. dont worry!"

"If you say so.."

The lights flickered back up, then i turned the device on and went to table seven. "Is this Maki?" I asked.

"Yes, im Maki.." i got her response, so the mirror was right! I went ahead and asked her what i just witnessed, then maybe ask her about the items that i found in the room

"I saw your husband, coughing.. what happened?" I asked

"Kaito's illness.. he said i shouldnt worry, but i was.. so Shuichi offered him a glass of water, i didnt think he would put something in his drink.." Maki explained

Something..? I dont know what it is, but it might have to do with the stuff i have, i need to know what they are.

"Maki, i found a video tape, what does it contain?" I asked her

"Shuichi showed that to me.. i didnt know that will contain something horrible.." she said

"I found a bottle of some sort of poison, what effects does it take?"

"That poison you were talking about.. it slowly kills you just by injecting it or accidentally drink it.."

"I found a knife, it has bloodstains in it.."
