In the hidden secret lair of Clockwerk a bunch of machines turned on and began moving and whirring as something else was being turned on and then a pair of yellow glowing eyes appeared. "He thought that he could destroy me, they thought that they could beat me, the Cooper Gang truly believed that they could get rid of me." An evil voice said as the owner looked into a mirror and revealed the metallic face of Clockwerk. "But they failed as all those before them." Clockwerk was in a new and completely robotic body as he began moving around to get used to his new body. "Those fools thought that I was destroyed that night and then the klaww gang that I invited into my organization scrapped me and used my parts to their own gains." Clockwerk complained as he made it to the opening to his lair. "However none of them knew about this new body and all it took for me to get transferred into it was to destroy the hate chip, not that I need it anymore." Then as he neared a ledge he spread his wings. "Now to try this new body out." After a moment of getting used to his new body Clockwerk took flight once again. After getting used to his new body Clockwerk decided to lay low and form a plan to get back at all of his enemies and watched from the shadows. One day he heard about someone making time traveling technology and decided to try it out himself. It took a bit of time to learn, build, and improve the technology while also integrating it into his robotic body and soon he was ready to test it out. Clockwerk took it to the skies as he got ready to try out his new time travel technology. "Now to go back in time and find a way to destroy the line of Cooper." Clockwerk said as he activated his tech and opened a doorway and entered it. Clockwerk came out of the doorway and did not recognize where he was. "What is this?" Clockwerk asked as he flew around an advanced city with flying cars and sky high buildings. A moment later Clockwerk landed on a building as he looked around and saw all sorts of being and creatures that he had never seen before. "This is not my world and it's definitely not my universe." Clockwerk stated as he thought about the possible answer. "Evidently the modifications that I did could not only send me through time and possibly space, but it would seem that I am also capable of traveling through dimensions as well." Then Clockwerk thought about the possibilities. "I could form the most powerful team ever, a legion, of the most powerful people in the multiverse." Then Clockwerk saw and observed two men talking and once one man left he landed on the edge of the broken window and then the man in a dark cloak noticed his presence. "Who or what are you?" The man in the black cloak asked Clockwerk as the giant owl explained. "I am Clockwerk and I have come to offer you the chance of many lifetimes." Palpatine was somewhat interested and asked. "What is it that you offer?" Clockwerk began to explain. "I have the rather unique ability to travel through space, time, and by chance reality as well and have decided to form a powerful group, a Legion of Evil, to take over the multiverse." Clockwerk then revealed images of his home universe and surprised Palpatine with how different it was and convinced him of his ability. "Your words speak true." Palpatine said as his curiosity and interest grew. "What all can I expect out of a partnership with you?" Clockwerk stopped showing images and replied. "With my abilities I can offer you many things, but since I'm asking you to join I would like to know about you, your capabilities, and what you can offer me in return." Palpatine pondered the offer for a moment before explaining. "I am what is known as a Sith Lord and I have recently acquired the power and position as Emperor of this galaxy after manipulating a war between the former Republic and the Separatists and even more I have a secret order for the clone army that I have at my command to exterminate every Jedi in existence and I have an entire fleet under my command." Clockwerk was impressed as Palpatine held up a hologram of his fleet and said. "It will be yours if you do what I ask." Then with a nod Clockwerk replied. "That sounds fair to me." With understanding Clockwerk asked. "What is it that you require of me." Palpatine smiled as he explained. "On the planet Mygeeto is a powerful energy source that I require for something that is currently under construction and so I ask of you to retrieve the energy source and bring it back here and once I have it then what is mine is yours." Clockwerk studied Palpatine carefully and accepted his offer. "Deal." Then Palpatine initiated Order 66. With the deal intact Clockwerk got directions and went to Mygeeto faster than lightspeed due to his time traveling ability as he slowed down time to a standstill as he traveled. Upon arriving he located a supply of energy crystals that were the energy source that Palpatine was looking for. Clockwerk gathered up a large supply and secured it before leaving and returning to Palpatine like as if he never left, because to Palpatine it seemed like as if he didn't leave at all as it seemed like the energy crystals simply appeared. "Incredible!" Palpatine exclaimed as he saw the supply of energy crystals simply appear. "You're powers over time is true." Then with a controlled sense of triumph Clockwerk replied. "Clearly." With a straight back and a serious face Palpatine said. "You have upheld your end and now I shall uphold mine by joining your legion and lending you my fleet as your own." Clockwerk accepted his answer and said. "Good." Then he turned around and looked on as he added. "Now to see who and what else there is to allow entrance into the Legion of Evil." Then he flew off and into another doorway as one appeared. As time went by Clockwerk found more people and beings to join his legion as he traveled the multiverse. Along the way he came across a dimension with powerful beings called Saiyans and found a powerful one called Broly that was supposedly the most powerful of them all and so he managed to get him as a baby right before the planet was destroyed and used his time technology to age him up while using his hypnotic eyes to teach him all that he needed to know. In another dimension he found genetically engineered dinosaurs and one breed greatly caught his attention as two were made. Clockwerk swiped one to keep as the ones that created them believed that it was eaten by the other one. Then Clockwerk came across a being with Purple skin and made him an offer that he couldn't refuse. "In exchange for you and your forces to join I will get rid of the ones that constantly get in your way." Then the Mad Titan asked. "How?" So with a sense of knowing Clockwerk replied. "By destroying them with their own selves." As promised Clockwerk made a plan that involved the shapeshifting alien species known as the Skrull who would take over the lives of certain individuals in order to cause nothing but pure chaos between the most powerful people there and leave them open for an easy attack. After gaining the alliance with the most powerful Skrull a Secret Invasion was sent to Earth and the plan was put into action. Clockwerk watched as his plan unfolded as the most powerful being known as the Hulk was sent away so nothing and no one could stop his plan, but at the same time he had a strange feeling of familiarity there as if he knew something or someone there that he knew for a while. Clockwerk shook off that feeling as he left to his new lair for his Legion of Evil to observe his progress. Meanwhile over on the planet of Sakaar a raccoon was waking up after surviving a mishap with another time machine and realized that he was not only in his own time, but also not in his own world anymore before he was captured to compete in the arena as the ship carrying Hulk arrived. After Hulk got out he too was captured and placed inside of the transport along with Sly and a group of others as they were carried off.
