Changes are good, I dare say. While I was walking around the Metropolitan Park with the company of my lovely Doberman, Nixha, my thoughts where elsewhere. Since I graduated Uni with a degree in Anthropology, I've been working in Human Resources for a Television company here in the Puebla City, Mexico. I was born and raised in this city, always dreaming of moving to the big capital, Mexico City. The way of living is so different and so diverse, I want to be there with all my heart. You might be thinking, This is the typical gal that loves to read and she is unique and different, no I am not.  I consider myself normal, not outstanding but still not invisible. I love to party, drink, smoke, not type of lady my parents expected.

My phone began to ring, I wouldn't be expecting a call at this hour in the early morning. The ID says "Lucie" oh, dear is going to be a long call. I touch the green call button.

"Hey Lucie, what is going on?" I said.

"Where in earth are you? I've been ringing your bell for the past 15 minutes." She said along with a heavy sight.

"Well... You could've called before arriving to my house, I am at park. The dog's park" I say looking around.

"If I called you it wouldn't be a surprise anymore" She says "Doesn't matter anymore, how long will it take for you to come back?"

"I dunno, Half an hour?"

"Deal, hurry up."

Maybe if it weren't for her, I wouldn't be working where I was. Her father was my boss, she studied Law so, she wouldn't work there along her papa. Her father managed to get her a job at a very important Law company in Mexico City, our plan is for me to get a job in the city and to go and live with her.  My parents have not been very present in my life, their jobs keep them away for a long time, they were politicians and very active ones, they would travel around the country a lot and be in the office if they were in town. Basically, it was me, my sister, nana, Lucie and her parents.  So moving away wasn't that difficult, my father agreed to pay for my apartment and my car, he did buy me things because I was his daughter and he had a lot of money. I parked my car in the garage for residents, Lucie followed me and also parked inside for her car to be safe inside the building. Nixha was well trained by myself and he patiently awaited for me to open the door for him to step out from the car.

We took the lift and headed to my apartment. The sun rays where illuminating my living space. It was warm and cozy, to tell the truth, I don't think I'll be able to let this home go but a lot awaited for me outside, I wouldn't like to stay in my comfort zone.

"Tell me! What are you doing here so early?" I asked my best friend after giving her a cup of coffee. "I wasn't expecting you until tomorrow!"

"Well it is just because I have some news for you." She was very excited. "So I have a dinner with my boss, he is bringing a new, very famous, lawyer. My boss asked me if I could bring a date with me, I asked him if you could come with me and he said yes." She took a sip of her coffee. "Dinner's tomorrow and on Saturday we are going to take him to Chapultepec to the museums. Your prize."

How much she knew me, I love going to museums specially to the ones in Chapultepec. Breakfast was quick,  as her father is my boss, well, you can imagine I didn't need to ask for permission.

"Why me?" I asked out of the blue "What about your 'Boyfriend'?" I made question marks with my fingers.

"He is buried past and he wasn't my boyfriend."  she said "Oh! And wait, we will be leaving today, like in 2 hours."

I opened my eyes wide "what? Don't you remember I work today?"

She laughed. "Yes but papa said you had a free day, so, pack your things"
