Harry chapter 21
I sat at home all day waiting for the right time. I mainly just watched tv or practiced some songs for X factor. The good news was, by the time it was almost dark, I found the perfect audition song. The bad news is I'm starting to get nervous about telling Brooke. My idea was risky but I wanted her to know that I really cared about her and both of these things are extremely important to me. I headed up the street with blankets in my Hand and a little bit of food. I got to her house and quietly set all of the stuff down on the patch of grass she calls a yard. I grabbed a handful of pebbles from the garden and gently through them at her window.. At least I hope it's her window... I saw her gorgeous face in the window. I sighed a sound of relief. She had her hair in a messy bun and her glasses on. Even then she's till was beautiful. She opened the window and poked her head out.
"Harry?" She asked
I smiled and let out a giggle.
"What are you doing?" She added
"Come down here!" I replied.
She closed the window and turned off the light in her room.
A few minutes later she was wrapped up in a little jacket and on the front porch.
I started walking towards the park which was a few blocks away.
Brooke followed close behind me asking lots of questions.
"Where are we going Harry?!" She asked
"It's a surprise." I replied
She moaned And continued walking. When we got to the patch of grass at the park, I laid down all of the food on top of the blanket. She smiled and kissed me on the cheek. We ate the food an she told me what it was like in America.
"So what was all of this for?" She asked me as she set down her napkin.
"Brooke, I have something to tell you." I replied
She giggled.
"Alright... Shoot." She said
"I'm auditioning for the X-factor"
