I thought about everything I did last night.

Why didn't I just kiss him? I probably won't live to do it anyway with my blue eyes now.

"Get your ass down here! Now your late because you ran around all night." My mom called from downstairs.

"Coming." I threw on my uniform, because I don't need any attention from the principal today. I straightened my hair and grabbed my school books.

Before I went downstairs for breakfast, I quickly shoved on sunglasses.

"Hurry up you don't have time to screw off. The bus is coming." She threw me an energy bar and motioned me out the door.

"Why in the world are you wearing sunglasses? It's 31° outside!" She started to grab them, but I pulled back.

"Bye mom." I ran outside to the bus.

All eyes were immediately drawn to me as I made my way to a seat. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw Ren sitting in the back.

"Hello, baby blue." He smirked and put his arm around me. He too, was wearing shades.

"Hello Ren...I'm surprised you thought the same as me." I poked his glasses.

"Why don't you just take them off?" He pulled his shades off, and despite looking tired, his eyes were still as bright as the moon.

"Put those back on! You know why we can't take them off!" I was getting paranoid even in the back seat.

"Tell me...I want to hear a good reason." He smiled his adorable smile with his teeth showing.

"Walters." I said seriously. His smile dropped instantly and he put the glasses back on.

He went silent and didn't say a word until we arrived at the high school.

We walked down the hallway together to go to first hour.

"Well well... Ms. Fallen, why might you be breaking rules....again." Principal Harrison asked from the doorway of the office.

"Hello your majesty." I mocked, causing Ren to giggle, which he quickly turned into a cough.

"In my office now. You too Mr. Prince." He said through clenched teeth.

"The irony." Ren said.

I giggled knowing we were in deep trouble.

He sat down at his desk. The bell rang in the distance.

'Great. Late and in trouble.' I thought.

"Sunglasses. NOW." He put his hand out waiting for them. I closed my eyes and handed them to him. I wasn't sure if Ren did the same.

"Open your eyes.''

I didn't listen.

"NOW!" The principal screamed.

I cracked my eyes open and saw that Ren already had his open. He smirked.

Our beauitful eyes glowed and fear was written all over Harrison's face.

"That's right. We're different. Does that scare you?" He confidently said.

Intimidating.

The principal picked up the phone with his hands shaking and barely choked out,

"Code Blue."
