Prologue

Y/N Bray POV

There we were getting ready to leave the Towers hangar me and my fireteam of two, Emma, an Awoken Warlock, and to her right, an Exo Titan named Specter-3. These were my friends since my first resurrection back in the Cosmodrome there, they found me fighting for my life against the Fallen House of Devils. Then there's me, Y/N Bray, to be saved they, took me to the Last Safe City to be trained by the Hunter Vanguard Cayde-6, I sometimes think if it wasn't for them, would I even be alive right now?

I remember them telling me that was another Bray born in the light only for her to go missing and later to be found during our mission back to Mars since the Traveler woke and activating Rasputin. Her name was Ana Bray. During our mission in the aid of defending the Warmind Rasputin, she told me about our family's history, or well of what she was able to come across. She told me that I, Y/N Bray was an outcast only to be tossed out by our father, Clovis Bray, once he learned I wasn't as headstrong as he was on carrying on the family name.

After thinking for some time to myself, I was snapped back into reality by the Voice of Emma trying to get my attention.

Emma: "Hey Bray boy, you there? I and Specter are ready if you are?"

Y/N: "Ya I, was just thinking to myself, so who's ready to storm a Red Legion Ship!" I say excited!

All: "WE ARE!"

After that invigorating yell, we head to our ships readying up and taking off from the Tower. Once we were in orbit, we locked on to the Red Legion Cruiser over by the Centaur Planet known as Nessus. Once we started flying to Nessus, we knew there was one hell of a fight heading our way. Soon we break from hyperspace, we see the Cabal Cruiser only to witness that they were expecting trouble. The Cabal ship soon activated its defense but little did it know we were experts at making crash landings into enemy hangars.

I activate comms and tell them the game plan.

Y/N: "Alright, Specter, once we make our dramatic entrance, make way to the reactor and get prepared to blow this ship to high heaven. Emma, I want you with me to the bridge and take the Primus down."

Specter/Emma: "Understood!"

Specter: "Why am I alone again." he asks grudgingly.

Y/N: "Come on you know why you big walking mass of destruction. By the way, that's a compliment." I say jokingly.

Emma: "Hey, how about we don't argue and focus on not getting destroyed mid-flight." she says worrying.

Y/N: "Oh Emma, how about after this I take you and Specter to Cayde's favorite Ramen Restaurant. Come on you love Ramen." I say to try to lighten her up.

Emma: "I'm holding you to it, remember what you said after our last mission with that fallen Kell over in the EDZ, you told me you would get me that Fusion rifle from Omolon." she says angrily.

Y/N: "That weapon costs more glimmer than what I have in my bank account, It's Omolon's strongest Fusion Rifle, plus I did cross my fingers during the handshake too." before I could say another word, I heard her on the comms sighing only for to say.

Emma: "This is why I don't take bets from you anymore." she says still pissed

After our little chat, I took a hit from the Warships cannon, and my ship was about to crash. I aimed as best as I could at the hangar only for me not able to slow it down and crashing and ramming into all the ships in the hangar. After that rough landing, I get out and begin to open fire at all the cabal in my site, only for it to abrupted by Specter's ship gunning down the last of them and Emma coming in and landing and Specter's too.
