Matthews knife was deflected faster than Donkey could sing "On the Road Again."
I don't think Matthew, or anyone really, knew what was coming.
Shrek put his hand around Matthews neck, and squeezed. His fingers pierced into his neck, and then he took his hands out, leaving gaping holes in Matt's neck. Air gushed out of him whenever blood didn't.
He lay there, still twitching.
We all were stupefied with what just happened, but all but Cody knew that he was a necessary sacrifice.
Cody was tearing up, which only pleased him more.
"I see you've brought 2 new ones. Sorry about killing the other one, but he wouldn't GET OUT OF MY SWAMP!"
He grabbed Cody, and he and Donkey double teamed him.
Cody now understood.
