"Thanks." I mutter, head facing down, as the door is opened for me, walking into the tall offices I will be facing for the next couple of weeks. I stride over to the large desk in front of me to figure out what room I'll be in, meeting everyone.

"Hi, Eden Adley to see Steven Barks?" I ask and smile as the lady nods immediately, handing me a slip of paper with the room number on. I thank her and move towards the elevators swiftly, hopping inside on my own.

"Come on Eden, you've got this" mumbling as I fix myself in the warped, plastic mirror, making sure I look professionAl, or as close as I could get. The bell rings after a few moments and I sigh as walk out of the elevator, faced with a large door, taking a big breath and opening it quickly.

The meeting room is filled with people, directors, actors, sound and lighting as well as the costume department. People shaking hands and beginning to get to know one another, something I'm well aquainted with by now.

"Eden!! Over here." Steven waves over to me and I walk over, clearing my throat while weaving my way through people making dull conversation. He grins as I get closer.

"So nice to see you darling." He says reaching in for a hug as I put my hand out, aiming to be professional. He retracts and shakes my hand instead. If I wanted o be taken seriously I needed to push my professional appearance as much as I could

"Yeah nice to see you too, are we ready to start?" I say, eager to get on with it and pushing to get started.

"Of course, take a seat and I'll say something before we begin" He pats my shoulder, I find a chair around the big square table in the middle of the room.

"Right people! Listen in." He claps and the room becomes much quieter, everyone turning around to face him.

"So, Welcome to the first reading of 'Its Business!' We have all the people we need for today, but over the next few weeks you will be popping in and out quite a lot to sort out several things, you all know how it is." He says waving his arms around, trying to explain things to people who've done this countless times.

"This movie has just got that feel to it! I can sense now with everyone here that it's just going to run so smoothly. After today I do emphasise to get to know everyone around you, as you'll be working together for just over ten months." He says and everyone nods, I have to show willing so I nod along too.

"If you all take your seats we can begin and start on the first couple of scenes, talk about all of our characters, and we can work on getting some costume measurements too." He says and the room erupts into mass movement, I stand and try to find my name and where I'll be sitting, knowing it will probably be fore the rest of the day.

Slowly finding my seat, I place down my bag and grab my water bottle from my it, knowing I'll need it. Then I reach back in for my script, full of annotations and colors that have taken months to get right.

"I'd like to start off by introducing our characters." Steven says and points to us. My breath hitches slightly hearing this, knowing all eyes are on me now.

"So as you'll probably know, our main character Faye is being played by the amazing young talent that is Eden Adley" He says and I smile and wave around as everyone claps for me, making my cheeks heat up. I've always been seen as the 'rising star' or 'the upcoming talent' which I cant complain about, but I'm aiming to change it all with this movie, hoping that leading role can hopefully alter the way I'm looked at in the media.

"Then we have Harry Styles, who we are honoured to have with us, playing Seb." Steven says and cheers slightly with everyone else in the crew. Anyone in the industry I know that's worked with him has told me how much of an amazing person he is over the last three months, I'm just hoping to make my own judgment. He's all over the news seen as and extremely perfect and kind man, it's making me more excited to work with him.

He's everywhere, billboards, TV shows, award ceremonies, everyone loves him. Harry's been in the industry for years and I've seen a few of his works, but it doesn't mean I'll kiss his arse because he has a few Oscars, I know I have an amazing judge of character and I want to see if he's all he's cracked up to be.

Faye Willows. The person i'm becoming for the next year. This role is so intriguing, she's like the opposite of me, from what all of my friends tell me, she's so bubbly and free. She moves from Canada to New York to become a script writer, working on a TV show that needs a new perspective, aiming for her big break. I just know she's the type of person who sits in cafes all day, goes to museums, likes anything creative, and looks for love. It's her first mistake, and she realises it when she moves in with Seb, Harry's character, who works as a TV show presenter in New York, they grew up together in the UK before Faye moved to Canada. He gives her the spare room in his house to stay in while she finds her feet.

That's another thing about her, she is constantly moving, even though she can't tolerate change at all, she hates new things but takes the opportunity to move to NY to reach for her dream, leaving everything she knows, except him.

"So let's get reading shall we??" Steven says shortly after introducing everyone, and I look around to all the people i'll be working with for the next year, knowing exactly what I want to get out of it.
