The Talking Chair

chapter 1

One day Rita and her mom were going shopping for some new furniture. Finally they got in town "ready to shop?" asked Rita excitedly "of course" replied her mom entering a store.

So they began to shop Rita wondered off while her mom was trying on clothes then guess what Rita saw a chair that would suit her living room. "Mom!Mom" she hollared luckily her mom answered so she went by Rita to see  what was going on.She saw a red wooden chair "wow lovely now let us go" said Rita's mom pulling her"but mom let's buy it"pleaded Rita "fine " said Rita's mom so she paid for it and it was nicely wrapped in a plastic bag ready to go home

Chapter 2

Finally they got home.As soon as they entered the house Rita rapidly took the bag from her mom teared open the plastic bag and took out the chair and place it in a special place in the living room. Rita was so ecstatic about the new chair and sat down in it "awwwah!!"," mom did you just say awwwah!!? "asked Rita" no honey "she replied. Rita was puzzled what could it have be that just talked?" You must have been hearing things "Rita's mom said as she resumed cooking.

Early next morning Rita was awaken by a loud noise in the living room. So she rushed to the living room when she got there she saw nothing but usual stuff. Later on that day she invited her friends Tom and Carly eventually they got there " so why are we here?"asked Carly "remember my dad told you guys something is going on weird in the living room" said Rita"oh well what are we waiting for let's start searching for something unusual "said Tom .So they looked and looked but found nothing" from since when you have realize something strange in the living room? "asked Carly " from since I was here".Tom,Carly and Rita looked back in terror "your house is really strange!!" screamed Tom and Carly running out the door.

Chapter 3

That same day Rita was curious so then she remembered from since her mom bought the red wooden chair the living room was strange so she took the chair in her room an started to examine it "hello". " aaaaaahh" screamed Rita running to her father "what's wrong?" asked her father puzzled"the chair can talk"Rita muttered "don't be cra cra " said her dad .Rita went back to her room she took a deep breath "can you talk ?" she asked "of course I'm a talking chair" said the chair. Rita tried not to panic and just be calm."so are you a boy or girl ?" Rita asked "boy " he replied "so I'll name you Randy" Rita said. Rita and Randy were having a tea party during the tea party Randy told her all about his life.Then Rita's mom came "who are you talking to?" She asked "no one just my teddy bear " she mumbled "just checking " said her mom walking out the door "that was close " said Rita to Randy.

Chapter4

Rita tried to keep the secret that a chair could talk and since Rita had no siblings Randy was now one and they lived happily ever after.
