The date was January 29th, 2021. Lindsey Meyers (Liar) just got home from school. She waved hi to her parents, went upstairs, and got on her computer. She was told by her friend Freida Cosza (Faker) to Zoom chat with her after school. Lindsey logged onto Zoom.
Faker: Hi, Lindsey. And happy birthday.
Liar: Thanks. So, what did you have to say in school?
Faker: I was thinking...maybe we should go see Michael (Strange Dark) at the hospital.
Liar: Hmm...I'll have to ask my parents.
Faker: Go do that.
Lindsey logged out of Zoom and went downstairs.
Liar: Mom...Dad...can I go with Freida to see her boyfriend who's in the hospital?
Mr. Meyers: Sure, honey.
Mrs. Meyers: We'll drive you.
Liar: Thanks, Mom and Dad.
When her family got to the hospital, Freida was already there with her parents.
Faker: I already asked the lady up front where Michael's room is. It's room 416.
Liar: Okay. Let's take the elevator.
The 2 families took the elevator up to the fourth floor and looked for the room.
Faker: 414...415...Aha! Here it is.
Freida opened the door and saw Michael holding his newborn son, Austin. His sister Andrea (Antichlorobenzene) is there, too.
Liar: Hi, Michael. How are you doing?
Strange Dark: I'm really tired.
Antichlorobenzene: But the baby is fine.
Strange Dark: By the way, happy birthday, Lindsey. Freida told me when your birthday was, and I remembered.
Liar: Thanks, Mikey.
And so, the 2 families decided to stay with Michael and Andrea.
