Dreamer

Billions of stars from the starry night right in front of me,

The constellation shined as I took a deep breath from the cold evening.

A gust of wind blew from where I was as it also swayed the trees,

The moon reminded me that in chaos comes a silver lining.

.

Gossip all the way through my ears in pursuit to make me fail,

But my ship will remain unsunk as I continue to sail.

A dream to make the world a better place and find peace,

Hoping to cherish all the good and bad days that I'll surely miss.

.

Tired eyes and sore body all from the stones of hardwork,

Unfortunate events that made me feeble in which I go berserk.

The aftermath of the madness I put my own self in,

Made me realize that in battles I do not always have to win.

.

I know my demons would come out of my worst and everyone will hate me,

But I hope you do not stop believing as I am as calm as the mountain tree.

I may choose decisions that may not be favorable to some or to many of you,

But through it all it has never been a lie and I would rather stick with the truth.

.

Battered by the thoughts that has set fire from the lake of doubts,

Hoping to get myself out of the road that is full of twisted routes.

A plan to escape from it all even if I will ever fade in the background,

It feels like a burden to keep staying and still decide to be around.

.

I am quite hard to read as if stories would keep jumping from another,

But as you understand me I promise you that I am unlike no other.

One may imagine that I am hopeless but I remain to be that dreamer,

I do not mind of what the others think about my own demeanor.
