A/N I know, I know, there are like a million other stories called Stockholm Syndrome. And I'm sorry for that but at the moment Stockholm Syndrome is my fav song on Four and I am super inspired to write. So if you actually stick with this story, I will love you forever!!!!!

The letter came in early April. Kaegan had always known she was smart, just not that smart. It said that she had been nominated to go to London for six weeks over the summer for a study program. She was ecstatic! She had always wanted to travel to London.

She had her bags packed and was ready for her plane to leave two days after school let out for the summer.

----------

"Flight 293 ready to board," the loudspeaker in the airport called.

"Bye, Mom, I love you!!", Kaegan told her mom, Julia Carter.

"I love you too honey! Please be safe!", her mom said, hugging her.

"I will. Promise. I'll call you every night, as long as I'm not too busy!", Kaegan said running off to catch the plane.

----------

The plane ride took six hours. Kaegan spent most of it sleeping so she'd have time to explore the city before classes started in two days.

The program had arranged a place to stay and a ride there, as well as a ride to and from the school she would be studying at. Kaegan grabbed her luggage and looked around for a man holding a sign with her name on it.

As she looked around she saw a boy, maybe 19 years old, watching her intently. He wasn't half bad looking. He had curly brown hair and green eyes. Kaegan waved and gave a sweet smile before moving on.

She found her ride and was at the long-stay hotel in ten minutes. She had seen the boy from the airport leave after she left and get in a dark blue car. A dark blue car had followed them the whole way to the hotel. It parked farther down the parking lot but nobody got out until Kaegan went inside with the last of her luggage. Creepy she thought. She was pretty sure she had seen the airport boy follow her into the hotel.

She called for a taxi to come take her exploring. As she waited for her taxi she saw the airport boy in the hotel lobby.

"Hi. I'm Harry," he said shyly.

"Hello. My name's Kaegan," she replied, smiling.

A horn honked outside. "That's my ride," she said and left him standing all alone in the lobby.

Kaegan only went exploring for about two and half hours before she tired herself out. She didn't get to see very much of the city, but what she did see she enjoyed.

She stopped at a small café a block down from her hotel on the way back. She payed the driver and went inside the hotel back up to her room.

She was pretty sure she had seen Harry go into the room next to hers as she got off the elevator. Maybe I've made a new friend already she thought to herself.

She got ready for bed and called her mom.

"Hi Mom!" Kaegan said.

"Hi baby! How was your the flight?" Julia asked.

"Ok. I slept most of the time. I went exploring for a few hours after I got here."

"How'd you like the city?"

"Loved it!!! It was amazing!"

"Good. I'll let you go so you can get some sleep. Good night. Love you"

"Love you too! I'll talk to you tomorrow."

Kaegan woke up very well and ready to explore. She decided to go down and eat breakfast in the dining area. She took a seat by herself at a table in the corner. She seen Harry getting his breakfast as well.

"This seat taken?" Harry asked pointing to the seat across from her.

"No, actually it's not." Kaegan replied, smiling again.

"Good 'cause I was gonna take it anyways." he said grinning.

"Harry, right?" Kaegan asked.

"Yeah. And you're Kaegan?" He asked.

"Yes. I seen you at the airport yesterday. Where are you from?" she asked.

"Northern England. I came down to visit family. Where are you from?"

"America. Central Illinois to be exact." she said after swallowing a bite of French toast.

"What brings you here?" Harry asked.

"Study program," was all she said.

Kaegan finished her breakfast quickly and got up to leave.

"Where ya goin?" Harry said, looking a bit confused.

"I'm gonna go explore the city before classes start tomorrow," she replied.

"Oh, ok," he sounded disappointed. "Need some company?"

"Um... I don't know," she hesitated.

"Come on, it'll be fun!" Harry pleaded.

"I guess..." Kaegan said, extremely hesitant about having a stranger with her while she explored the city. But who knew, maybe he knew some great places to visit.

"Come on up to my room. I gotta grab some stuff," he said.

They went and put their breakfast trays up. They took the elevator up to the third floor. The ride was quiet and particularly awkward.

"Here it is," Harry said stopping in front of the door Kaegan had seen him go into the day before.

"Ok."
