Kei took nice strides the following day, walking through the school hallways to each of his details classrooms, his dress shoes clicking softly on the floor. Head raised high as he stared out each window cautiously and silently, finally on his way to the third year's class before lunch, peeking inside before stepping in through the back door. Waving silently to the teacher to continue as his eyes moved about the class and landed on the raven-haired tall third year and short blonde companion. Quietly humming and glancing out the window as he stood in the back for a few moments. His eyes cautiously moved through the foliage of the outside before nodding to himself and leaving the room.
Legs bringing him back to the first year's room even though he should be going to the second year Souh and Ootori. Yet last night's reassurance to Kaoru made his legs continue past the second year's class, head swiveling to glance inside briefly, making sure the boys were fine and reasonably okay. Head-turning side to side to crack softly, then his hands raising to crack his knuckles. His hand stilled once it lowered to open the first-year class door, 1-A, mouth going dry before nodding mutely and pushing it open silently, hearing a barely audible squeak from the hinges.
The teacher's voice covering it up nicely as he stepped inside, though he saw one head of ginger facing the door instead of the front of the room, Kei's neutral face turning into a reassuring smile toward the younger twin. Kaoru finally had someone that gave him reassurance and comfort besides his own twin. Kaoru finally had someone to talk to besides the hosts and his twin, who was a host with him. And he finally had someone to talk to outside of school.
So now as lunch approached, Kei stayed close behind the three first years, eyes searching the lunchroom for the second and third years before spotting them. Keeping a close eye on all four while following behind the two gingers and one brunette. His higher-ups found it honestly amazing that Kei was able to keep such a close eye on all seven people and be able to continue taking care of his own basic needs.
Once everyone was seated Kei took his own seat on the other side of Kaoru, hands clasped and chin resting on his thumbs. The group talked quietly amongst themselves, Kaoru, for once, stayed completely silent as he ate before nudging Kei, making the man look over and smile a bit. The ginger struck up a conversation with the man in an instant, talking about family and old memories. Kaoru even asked Kei about his old corporal and military friends, making the man smile fondly as he spoke endearingly about his friends and old corporal.
Kaoru listened to every word Kei had to say about each of his friends, catching names and ages, basic descriptions about each person, and even some of the personalities. And once the young man had finished his rambled he quickly apologized for going on so long about the people Kaoru didn't know, to which the ginger smiled and shook his head.
"It's nice seeing you relax a bit on the job... You don't do that often and it's lunchtime, you should relax during lunch." Kei breathed out softly in adoration, having formed some form of affection for the younger male in his heart. "I.. I'll try to more often then if that makes you happy." Kaoru nodded and finished up his lunch before tossing his trash out and returning to his seat for the remaining time of their lunch break.

This chapter is definitely short and I'm extremely sorry for that!
As it appears to me now I'm putting this book back on hiatus for the time being so I can focus on my more progressed story revolved around The Walking Dead.
As I'm not really in the OHSHC fandom anymore and haven't read the manga in well over two or three years, let alone having watched the anime since middle school I'd like to get back into it and properly continue this book soon.
But for the time being this is on hiatus till further notice and hopefully, I'll return to it soon. I'm currently on a week-long break from school, but during this time I have to write an essay, as well as complete another art piece of my AP art class.
Continuing that list I'd also like to push out another chapter or two for my TWD book and hopefully rewatch OHSHC and draft my next chapter for this book by next week.
That's my current plans, and hopefully, I'll stick to them and push out the next chapter to this, and end the hiatus before the 5th of next month (about 19 days from now)
