The New Girl : Chapter one

"Class ,today we have a new student with us , and her name is Maryanne Jewels , she came here from Mississippi , please make her feel welcome , here at school " , That's how the teachers introduced me to the class . Then she picked this guy to show me around the school , but he didn't say much , it looked like he had all my classes , but I was still wondering "Wy doesn't he talk , is he shy or just quiet " . Then he finally says something , " My name is Jasper Hills . " And put out his hand so I can shake it , but then he put it away . It was that awkward silence . Then I responded " My name is Maryanne Jewels and its nice to meet you " , then I put my hand out , to shake his , and he took it . We walked and talked all the way down the hallway and said " We have all the same classes , right ? " . I nodded my head . So then Jasper said " Do you want to sit by me ?" . I could tell that he liked me , but , he was very shy around me , for some reason , maybe because I was new . I knew this because when we walked in , they bombarded him with hey and hello and these weird handshakes that only made sense to them . Then confused I said " You have a lot of friends , don't you " . " Yeah , there just old friends , I've known for a while " he responded . The class was setup , in groups . His was the smallest , like a very exclusive club , that only so many can join . When he got to the table , this red sweater guys said " Ooo , who is this , I haven't seen you around much , sweetheart " . I started to blush because of the fact that he called me sweetheart . I was abou to tell him I was new , but I got cut off . Jasper spoke for me and said " She's new and Ms. Peters said that I could show her around the school , because we have all of the same classes , so we can spent time together and for her to get to know the school better " . They all whispered to each other and laughed hysterically . Then this leather jacket dude said " Excuse me , we need to talk to our friend , Jasper , here for a minute " and gave me the cheesiest smile I've seen in my entire life . They took him by the arm and fromed a hudle around him , I heard Jasper scream " No its not like that , she just a friend and she's new so , she doesn't know about it " . They all teased him and when they pulled him out , his face was bright red . I asked about what they said , and if it had something to do with me . He nodded a yes , that it did have something to do with me . I asked what it was , and the others over heard me . And said " come on Jasper , tell your friend what we were chatting about . His face turned red again and he said " Nothing important , Let's take a seat and pointed to an open seat at their table , that was empty . The girls from the other tables started to whisper and glare at me , maybe because of the fact that I was the only girl to sit at that table . They talked and talked through the first twenty minutes of class , whispering to each other. I was sitting there starring at them , talk and whisper to each other . Then they finally decided to speak out loud and they leather jacket said " We have been talking and we decided to make you a part of our crew , it's very exclusive and private . If just to let you know Jasper was the one that made consider , making you a part of it . " . I looked at Jasper , with the " What are they talking about face " . Then he said " Let me explain , I thought iyvwas a good idea to include you into the group , but's its cool , you don't have to join , I just thought . " . I was shocked , today might be a very good day . Then they just sat there , starring at me . Then I said " Ok , fine , bit can I ask you something " . Leather jacket said " sure , you can ask us anything , you like sweetheart " . Then I said " First of all the names Maryanne not sweetheart , secondly , I'd be happy to join your club , is there like this special initiation . " . When I said that , they started to chuckle , Jasper gave me the " You shouldn't have asked face " . Then I said " What is it " . Leather jacket happily responded my question " Well its customary , that when a guy joins he has to do a dare given to him by one of us , but since you new and a girl we will give you something easy " . Then they froned their hudle again , Jasper hesitated to join . They called him over and looked at me before he did and whispered " I'm sorry " . Then they came to a decision . Then leather jacket said " We have decided , and you have to pick one of us and kiss them . " I then said " Ok leather jacket , I'm can do it , I'm not a chicken , but where I am going to find the time to kiss one of you and where do I have to kiss one of you , on the cheek or lips ? " . Then he looked at his friends and nodded , and he said " Anywhere you want , sweetheart ." He said that in a mocking tone , I hated it . Then I said " Ok , Where will I find the time to kiss one of you " . Then he pointers towards the teacher , when she said " Ok , kids it free time , you have 30 minutes , so enjoy yourselves " . And then he pointed to this girl and guy that seriously needed a room . So then he pointed at me and said " Its time to decide , which one of us is going to have a taste , sweetheart " . Then looked at the three of them and then said " I pick Jasper because he was the only one who had the dignity to actually get to know me ." I saw the others and they looked shocked and said

at the same time " What !?! " . Then I walked up to leather jacket and said " Don't take it personal , sweetheart ." Then I looked at Jasper and said " I really don't want to do this on the first day , but you were the best choice , so come on . " Then leather jacket walked up to me and said " Here I've been waiting to see this , so I went ahead and bought some lip gloss for the occasion " . I grabbed the gloss and said " Where did you get this lip gloss " . " From the shop downstairs " he said . Then I put some on , it was a very pretty lip gloss , it's smelled like fruits . I was grateful for the gloss , so I said thanks . I applied the gloss on my lips and Jasper was starring dead at me , while I was putting on the gloss . Then I walked up to him , " Look , Jasper , if you like me tell me now because this will effect the way I see you , Ok " . Then he said " Yes , I do that's why I was so shy before " . Then I kissed him on the lips , in the middle of when he was speaking . He looked at me , and then kissed me back . We stopped , a d looked at each other embrassed but happy. I looked at him , and saw that I got some lip gloss on his lips , " Hey , Jasp you got a little gloss on your lips " . He wiped his lips with his hands and we bursted into laughter . Then I looked at the other , thier mouthes hung open , in shock . Leather jacket walked up to me and put his hand on my shoulder , " You gonna make a great addition to the group " . I grinned at him . It was almost time to go we sat down at our table , Jasper grabbed my hand under the table , and smiled . He whispered to me " We need to talk , outside " , I nodded in agree . The bell rang , we both rushed outside , into a corner . I fell into the corner , and started to laugh , Jasper came to where I was and saw me laughing and smiled . He said " Well , what a day , Hey do you want you know see me after school ", I rejected the offer , I put on more lip gloss and kissed him on the cheek . He grabbed my hand and kissed it , like a gentleman would do in movies . Then he kissed me , and left me there in the corner , starstruck . The only thing I could say was this was " The best day ever "
