I felt my breathing slow as the sound filled my ears. That sound that I'd heard all too often. The sound a 22 year old girl should never have to hear behind them. Guess I was just that lucky, huh. The glint of metal hit my gaze as I turned my head slightly to the right. I had already figured out what it was before seeing it. The sleek silver was all too familiar for me not to recognize. Old memories rushed back to me in fragments until I felt an elbow dig roughly into my back left shoulder and I turned my head back to face the front.

"You keep your eyes forward you hear me. Wouldn't want to have to damage that pretty little body of yours." The man behind me spoke in a groggy voice before letting out a small chuckle and placing his hand on the back of my right thigh.

A small smirk formed on my face but vanished just as quickly as I turned my whole body around to face the man this time. He stood a couple inches above me but his build was rather puny. How he managed to kill all those women was beyond me. The gun was exactly what I thought it to be. A 9mm parabellum, and a newer one by the looks of it. He had probably stolen it from a store back in town. He pushed out the gun firmly into my chest , snapping me out of my thoughts as I watched his hand hover over the trigger.

"I said hold it lady! You'll be dead in seconds if you don't listen to me! Want to wind up like all those other girls! You saw what happened to them! Up I won't hesitate!" A small wind suddenly stirred around us causing my dirty blonde hair to move in towards my face more subtly, covering my now aggravated gaze. I watched as he lifted his right hand quickly up to brush his brownish gray hair from his eyes before seizing my opportunity. "Neither will I."

I dropped to the ground quickly as I watched him process the words coming from my mouth knowing how he would react based on how he was standing, tensely gripping his fingers around the base of the gun. It went off loudly just as I lunged at his torso, taking him down with me. He was only able to fire one shot and the shot fired into a tree somewhere above us. I watched as his gun scattered a couple feet behind him and I pulled mine from my holster aiming it right in the middle of his forehead. I heard movement around us and shouts as my team who were hiding in the bushes reacted to the loud noise. I watched as he spit out some dirt that had made its way into his mouth from the fall through his yellow stained teeth. He seethed as he looked up at me before I pushed him onto his stomach and pinned his hands behind his back whilst handcuffing them. I slowly slid my gun back into its holster on my left thigh.

"James Decker, you are under arrest for the murders of 6 women and the kidnapping of Kelly Andrews. You have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law." I spoke as read him his right and pulled him off the ground, not so pleasantly. I watched as members of my team started towards me again from the bushes and buildings around me and a loud siren could be heard in the distance.

"Great work, Agent Farrell. I had no doubt in my mind that you wouldn't be able to catch this bastard today."

I turned my head and nodded to my boss after he finished congratulating me. "Thank you Agent Morrow. I couldn't have done it without the back up of the team though. Is Kelly Andrews alright?"

"A little shaken up from everything but other than that she's fine. Agent Glazer found her about a mile away where Decker had been camping out in an alley way."

My gaze scanned the crowd in front of me until I spotted a dark haired girl sitting on the back of an ambulance. One of my co workers, Mark Glazer sat next to her seemingly talking her through some questions we had to ask. Tear streaks were evident on her face but other than a couple cuts and bruises she seemed fine. The fact that that monster had taken her and planned her to be his next victim made my blood boil and I tightened my hold on his arm. I was glad we had found her alive though. She looked up at me almost as if knowing I was starring and smiled slightly, I smiled back.
