☾*✲⋆. (This day is the entirety of last chapter, just in Jungkook's POV :)

JUNGKOOK POV

I jump out of bed in the morning, quickly put on a shirt and brush my teeth.

"Omma, Appa, I'm going to school!" I yell as I call out to them, as they're eating breakfast together.

"Bring home your soulmate, Kookie! We're looking forward to meeting them!"

I eagerly nod my head and smile widely. Today was it. The day I meet my soulmate. I've been waiting my entire life for today, just so I can meet someone who I'll love as much as my parents love each other.

I practically skip to school and head to my first class, talking to my friends.

"Hey Jungkook! You excited for today?" I look over to one of my friends and open my mouth to respond before I'm interrupted.

"Of course he is! You know how obsessed he is with soulmates!" Taehyung says, putting me into a head lock and rustling my hair.

I smile widely and girls start to surround us.

This early? I thought we had 5 more minutes...

"Jungkook, can you touch me really quick?"

"Taehyung, can I see if you're my soulmate?"

"Just today, can I touch you?

Ah. That's why.

People want to see if we're their soulmates. I exhale at that and shake my head.

Suddenly, something fills me senses. A warm feeling. A very, very warm feeling. One that makes my eyes water and heart quicken. Where is this warmth coming from? I need it.

I stand up and follow the feeling, ignoring all the girls in my way.

"Jungkook! What are you doing?" I even ignore Taehyung's call.

I apparently walk across the hall to the Mrs. Park's History class and I feel the sensation getting warmer and warmer.

My eyes bore into the classroom and lock onto a figure sitting near the window, beautifully looking outside. Even just looking at her makes my stomach fuzzy inside.

She has to be my soulmate.

I push through the crowd and hear muffled people yelling my name.

The ethereal girl whips her head around and stares at me as I walk closer.

It's only when I reach her desk do I realize who she is.

Choi Yujin.

We lock eyes and she furrows her eyebrows.

Is she my... soulmate?

I shake my head to dismiss the thoughts and I pray that my soulmate isn't her. Please, plea-

"What are you doing?!" She sneers through clenched teeth. I then realize I have my hand reaching towards her and I pull away, flustered. My mind goes in to a frenzy as I try to think of what to say.

"Sorry, I- you just looked so..." I falter as I realize what I was about to say.

I thought Choi Yujin, my enemy, was beautiful.

"So...?" Her voice snaps me out of my thoughts and I blurt something random out.
