When Bakugou woke up, he knew. His body felt heavy, his thoughts were fumbled, his eyes were hurting. In a single moment, the teen boy curled up on himself, hiding under the covers. School was starting soon and he knew but he just couldn't force his ody to move a single muscle. He was stuck in bed with his thought as his only company and that was enough for him to break.

Denki and Kirishima both looked at each other across the room. Normally, Bakugou would've already come down, hell he was supposed to be in the common room with them by now! An unsettling feeling dropped in the two boys' stomachs as Eijirou made his way upstairs. He knocked on Bakugou's door before opening up slowly. The lump on the bed shifted as a way to bury itself even deeper in the covers and Kirishima's heart broke a little when he laid his eyes on the thing. He approached the bed slowly as you would approach a child and sat on the edge of the bed. His hand was tracing small circles on the lump trying to coerce it out of the covers.

"Hey bud. How are you? Can I see your face?"

Bakugou turned around and peeked the tip of his head out of the cover. With what he saw, Kirishima almost wished he hadn't asked. Te poor boy's eyes were graced with dr=ark circles, his hair was even more of a mess as it was, his cheeks were so pale he almost looked translucent....But the worst of it all were his eyes. Eyes that had always been full of emotions, determination, joy, they were empty. They were hollow. Kirishima's hearty role at the sight and he had to stp the tears from flooding his eyes.

"Bud? Baby? You have to go to school."

Bakugou groaned and covered himself again. Eijirou sighed and the door opened showing Kaminari standing there. Eijirou looked at him in worry and the boy shook his head telling him to go ahead. Kirishima reluctantly made his way out the room and Denki took his place. He snuck his arms under the blankets and settled them under the teenagers armpits. With a gentle tug he took the boy out of his cocoon and the blond automatically leaned on him. He hugged him in place, holding him up as he whispered things in his ear.

"Hey, it's okay. We've got you, we're here. Kirishima's here. Mina's here. Sero's here. Aizawa-sensei, Shisou, Ojiro. Me. We're here. Rely on us."

Bakugou tightened himself around Kaminari while the other patted his back.

"You have to take a shower."

Bakugou shook his head.

"A bath?"

The boy stopped moving and Kaminari took it as a yes.

"I'll run you a bath."

Bakugou shook his head again

"No bath?"

Bakugou stopped moving again.

"Want me to bathe with you?"

Bakugou nodded and Kaminari stripped them down. They both got into the bath, Bakugou's head buried inside of Kaminari's neck.

"Rely on us today, please. Rely on us, bud."

Kaminari and Bakugou were walking towards the school. Bakugou was holding Kaminari's hand as the walked but as they got closer he started to lean away. When they got on school grounds, his whole body was detached from Denki's one but he was still close enough so if their steps stopped aligning they would bump shoulders. They stopped in front of the 1-A class door and Denki turned towards Bakugou.

"Are you ready?"

The boy stayed silent and Kaminari pushed the door open after knocking. Aizawa looked at them and nodded as if to let them know it was okay. Bakugou sat down at his desk and leaned his cheek on his palm. The class continued as Aizawa taught the students that were willing to listen to him. Ojiro looked at the others and they all seemed to wear a stressed face. Today would be a hard day for Bakugou and they could only hope it wasn't bad enough to recreate the summer accident.
