Chapter One: I'll Love You Forever

Chelsea is a 'straight A' student, she is kind to everyone, she is attractive, and she has an attractive boyfriend, Zach. Chelsea doesn't typically get jealous, unless she's being pushed to her breaking point.

Zach is a B-C student, he is a nice guy, he protects everyone if their being bullied or harassed, even if he doesn't know them. Zach isn't the type to get jealous either, although he is the type to defend someone.

It was Friday night. Date night. Chelsea and Zach always went out on date night. Last week they went to the local restaurant, The Remedy Diner. The week before that, they went roller skating. And tonight they would go to the drive-in. They were seeing a classic, Grease. It was Zach's favorite.

Chelsea wore a pink dress and styled her hair like she was groovin' back in the 1970's. Zach also styled his hair like that time period and wore a black leather jacket, along with the rest of his outfit. They headed out to Zach's car. He had rented a 1949  Dodge Wayfarer just for their date, to replicate Danny's car from the movie.

"Ah Danny! This date is gonna be so cute! We're gonna have the best time! I'm so excited." Chelsea cheered.

"Oh yes, Sandy, it's gonna be a great time, we sure are lucky that I was able to find a 1949 Dodge Wayfarer just for our date tonight," Zach responded.

"Yes, we sure are lucky! Gosh, my heart is gonna dance the night away," Chelsea continued.

Once they got there. They found a great view of the screen.

"Okay, I'm gonna get us some popcorn and soda. You go ahead, get comfortable and watch the trailers. I'll be right back!"

"Okay, get extra butter on the popcorn, and I'll get a medium..." Chelsea started.

"A medium Root Beer. I know," Zach finished.

Chelsea smiled. "Yes, I will get that. Thank you."

"Alright. Be right back!" Zach said before he kissed Chelsea.

Zach made his way between the cars and walked to the concession stand. "Uh hi, could I get a large popcorn, a medium Cola, and a medium Root Beer, please?"

"Sure thing. That'll be $14.36," the attendant replied.

"Do you take card?" Zach asked.

"Uh no. We don't. Only cash," stated the attendant.

Zach pulled out his wallet and grabbed tweleve dollars and took out all the coins. He finished counting up the coins and came to a realization.

"Um, I'm actually short seventy-five cents. Could I just run back to my car for a moment?" Zack questioned the attendant.

"Uh-" the attendant tried to answer.

"Um may I?" A voice asked from behind Zach. The voice then reached into their wallet and started to shuffle around for the remainder of the cost.

Zach turned around. He saw a young man, his age. The boy was dressed in a black button-up with a black leather jacket over top. He wore blue jeans and black converse. His hair was slicked back with some hair gel and his face looked like a nice one. The boy gave a nice smile to Zach and continued to search for the exact change. "Ah! Here you go," the boy said.

"Oh thank you, but you didn't have to do that," Zach replied.

"Just take the money, you need it," the boy smiled.

"Well thank you, um-?" Zach waited.

"Luke," the boy returned.

"Luke. Well thanks Luke. I appreciate it," Zach thanked him.

"Sure. Just don't mention anything to your girl, alright. She should think that her boyfriend has a plan for everything, right? Besides you might get lucky and I don't wanna get in the way of that," Luke carried on.

Zach gave the boy a small smile. There was an awkward pause.

"Right, well I hope you get everything that you've been hoping for, uh-?"

"Zach,"

"Zach. Good luck," Luke smiled as Zach took off back to his car with the large popcorn and two medium sodas.

On the way back to the car. Zach was thinking about the kind act that Luke had done for him. Along with thanking Luke again with his imagination he thought about Luke's kind face. His smile. The way he dressed. And he wondered why a stranger was so interested in his sex life with his girlfriend. He shrugged it off. It was probably just what every guy did and he didn't really pay attention to that kind of stuff. Zach's mind traveled back to the way that Luke immediately rummaged around in his wallet for-.

"Hey! Where are you going, Zach?" A familiar voice called out.

Zach turned around and saw his girlfriend staring at him. He smiled and walked back. He wasn't paying attention to where he left his car and was paying too much attention to Luke's impression on Zach's mind. Zach shook his head getting rid of the thought.

Zach walked around the front of the car to where his girlfriend was sitting. He handed her the large popcorn and her medium Root Beer. He walked back around the front of the car and got into the car and sat down.

"What took so long, babe? Was there that long of a line?" Chelsea asked.

"Uh n- I mean yeah, there was a long line," Zach answered.

Zach and Chelsea began to watch the movie. In about the middle, Zach told Chelsea that he had to go to the restroom. He left the car and walked back to where the concession stand was, this time going left and into the men's bathroom. Zach opened the door and saw two boys making out. Zach stared for a bit and walked to the urinal. Zach did his business and zipped his pants back up. Then he walked over to the sink and washed his hands. The boys had stopped making out at this point and the boys revealed themselves. The boy pinning the other boy against the wall was Luke. The second, Zach didn't recognize. Zach walked back out of the bathroom, heading back to the car.

Zach and Chelsea finished the movie and began to drive home. While Zach was driving home, Chelsea put her feet on the dash. This bothered Zach.

"You know Chelsea, you're not supposed to put your feet on the dash," Zach said.

"Why not? My feet hurt from my shoes. I'm tired of wearing them!" Chelsea whined.

"Because if we were to get in an accident. Your legs would fly back and your knees could enter your eye sockets and cause some serious damage to your eyes," Zach warned Chelsea.

"Oh dear! But honey you're a good driver, I trust you," Chelsea stated.

"Yes I am a good driver. But you never know how good the other drivers on the road are. You don't know how they drive or what they're gonna do or if they should be driving or not. Understand?" Zach responded.

"Yeah," Chelsea spoke in a shaky breath.

Zach drove Chelsea home and dropped her off.

"Goodnight, dear. I love you," Zach wished Chelsea.

Chelsea said goodnight and her I love you 's and waved goodbye.

Zach drove to the car rental place and ordered a lift that would take him back home before he was stranded at this car rental place with no way of getting home.

A few minutes later

A few minutes later after Zach was done paying for the time he used the car, his ride showed up. It was his best friend, Daniel.

Zach talked to Daniel about the fantastic date that him and Chelsea just went on.

Daniel then dropped Zach off at his house and Zach thanked him. He walked inside after Daniel left. He thought about Luke again and how Zach didn't get any from his girlfriend.  But how Luke got some romance, tonight. Zach went upstairs and changed into his pajamas. He climbed into bed and turned off his lamp next to him. He closed his eyes and for a brief moment he thought about what he would do over the weekend. Zach yawned and then drifted off to sleep. Excited for tomorrow's plans.
