Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!!!
The school bell rang loudly and I bolted out the door. The school year was over, and my main goal was to spend half of it with Marie, my sister not by blood, but by love. We have been friends since Day 1 of our life's, or Year 3, but she is still my bff. We were people's BFF goals. If I did not have Marie, I would probably be dead.
Marie was just like a month older then me, so we were really close to age. The only bad thing was that we were not in the same grade. She was born in September and I was born in October, one month pass the age limit. Why did they even have that limit.
I walked out of the building and Marie was waiting for me. She was in her poofy white dress with a pink belt and pink, sparkly hat. We hugged and started walking to her house. "So Max, what do you want to do this summer?" Marie asked. Max replied,"I don't really know Marie, but if I do something, it has to be with you!" "Awe!" Marie said quietly.
By this time, we were entering Marie's house. Her twin sister, Angie, was playing with their two little siblings, Danielle and Winston. Their older sister, Hannah, was siting on the couch, watching youtube. They both ran upstairs and immediately started to do art. Marie was a very great artist. "Max, look outside!" Marie yells. I look over an out the window. Someone is in their yard, with a gun and gloves. He starts walking toward the front door, and we yell for Winston, Danielle, Hannah, Mrs. Darkinson and Mr. Darkinson to come upstairs and call the police. When we hear him enter, we are forced to jump out the window. Winston, Danielle, Mom and Dad, Hannah, and Angie get down safely. It was Marie's turn. When she jumps out, she breaks her left foot and leg. The police arrive and the ambulance takes her away. Max just rands there, crying and dying inside. Max asks Mrs. Datkinson,"Is she going to be alright?" She doesn't respond.
We rush to the hospital to see Marie. The Doctor exits the room to get data, and we talk to Marie. She doesn't here us because she is now deaf in the left ear. "I wish we could got to the Waterpark, but you're hurt, and I miss you!" Marie's sister, Hannah, walks in and sits in the chair nexus to her, and cries. I walk over and put my hand on her shoulder. I say,"Everything is going to be alright, trust me!"
The doctor comes in and documents the data, and asks the parents, friends, and family members of Marie Darkinson to room. He gives them shocking news. He says, sadly,"Marie has Stage IV bone cancer. Max bolts out room, crying and yelling in anger.
