Chapter 1: I'm Moving On - Letting Go . . .

". . .while we're gone you will be staying with the Johnson family. Do you remember them?"
And this is where my life started to spiral downwards . . . . .

Walking back to my room, my mind chorused several thoughts.
"They're getting back together . . ." ,
"I'm moving in with the Johnson's . . ." ,
"Atlanta, Georgia . . .Six hours from home . . ."
Don't get me wrong, I was very happy that my parents were getting back together!
But, I don't know anyone in Atlanta. I mean . . .no friends, and I'll be way from Lucy. I immediately picked up my phone and dialed the number that I knew by heart to tell my best friend the news. When she finally picked up the phone, the first thing I said was "Luce, I have some news."
"Oh no, I can already tell by your tone of voice that the news isn't so good." She replied with a tone of worry in her voice
"You're half way right - So my mom and dad are getting back together, but they're going on a couples retreat and while they're gone I have to live with the Johnson's." I told her the news
"Wait the Johnson family? The one that lives in Atlanta and has the hottt son? I see nothing bad. One: its' freaking Atlanta and its been your dream to live there since forever. Two: Jordan Johnson is a freaking Abercrombie model, it's about time that you get over Jacob and have some fun!"
Maybe she's right, but when I hear Jordan's name I think of the boy who used to pick on me and call me ugly. But he could've changed, right? I mean - we all deserve a second chance. "Yeah, you're right Lucy. I'm going to go down there and have a lot of fun. Jordan Johnson isn't gonna know what hit him."
"There's the spirit girly! Now don't forget to try out for the schools cheer squad while you're at it and don't forget me!"
"Oh please Lucy how can I ever forget about my bestie? But I've got to go pack I'll call you when I get there! Bye, love you!" I sang before hanging up
This move is either going to be good or bad - but I hope someone benefits from it . . .
