There are things one takes for granted in life, even life itself. Naïve behavior leads us to believe there are no hidden truths, that nobody is cruel or selfish. I, Alexa Lee Walker, should've known better. Yet, here I am now. I'm lying in a hospital bed, unable to understand what's going on. There's a doctor at the end of my bed, and even when I'm barely conscious I can hear his voice, echoing through the room. The only thing is, his voice is getting quieter each second. Then, my world is nothing, nothing but a black abyss.
Silent. Everything around me is silent. I desperately look around for something familiar, but there's nothing. It's no use. Nothing familiar, nothing to grasp onto. I grow silent, adding to the silence of this already strange place. Suddenly, some sort of light catches my attention, the ground in front of me is illuminated. I whip my head around only to be greeted by some sort of scene. Some sort of familiar scene. I watch as the scene played, slightly hearing the laughter echoing in the abyss. Two children appear on the screen. I appear on the screen, along with someone else... Someone who should be familiar. I can't think of who this girl is or why she's here. The scene changes once again...
I can't remember why... I can't remember why I am with this person. All of a sudden it hits me... A memory of this girl and who exactly she is. I don't believe these memories have only just come back to me. All of a sudden...
